HEY YOU ABOUT TO POST SOMETHING STUPID:
Yes, I know my hands are large/fat. It's because of a heart condition I suffer from called Congestive Heart Failure. Here's a link to some information about CHF: cle.clinic/2TdS2Ux
One of the symptoms is that it causes fluid retention, mostly in the hands, feet/ankles, and face..

Oh yeh Tesla coils are the coolest
@freedomer342
you should do a small vacuum tube tesla coil one day
@blazingtrailsrc396
really excited to see your finished coil
@rdpoulson
Excellent project! Keep them coming!
@Multi-Skill-Bill
Looks like fun times!.
@peterdegelaen
Paul, for a transistor, it is called "the base", not the "gate".
@sargismartirosyan9946
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeee 😊😊😊😊
@marknesselhaus4376
Found this on my Hackaday home page this morning so now subscribed. I have already made several coils but used a flyback for the more powerful one but I did start out with a simple 2n2222 like you showed 🙂
@bblod4896
Cool Dude Clem was messing with many Tesla coils. Also, Tested to Destruction. Check them out.
@williamsnipes7608
Thanks for the info. I got a question for you. Can you measure the field around the coil with a multimeter without touching the coil?
@carlsansfacon3990
Doubt you'll beat commercial coil with that. You should go for a mosfet that has really high VDS maximum voltage with a 5w pot. And don't use a lab power source over 30v 3 amp. You will blow it. Use big caps and variac instead.
@frankowalker4662
Oh dear. Bye bye camera. LOL.
@killzoldek6147
You should really care more about thumbnail image for your RU-vid
@cremvustila
