$3500 is more than reasonable. I’d highly recommend Soursound transformers. His stuff is next level! I don’t think you’d need to do a Kickstarter. I’d just suggest taking a deposit to cover all materials plus a bit. Take final payment when you’re ready to ship.

Hi Nick, I found this video after watched the dumble clone, too. I'm not american, I'm sorry...I can't offer any sort of physical help to you, even an accommodation. But your initial idea to create a kickstarter campaign made me happy. So interesting the part where you talked about different material of the chassis, and all that kind of staff. Believe it or not, this is my first comment on youtube since I've ever joined this platform, some decades ago. But your story, your projects, catched my attention. I've got a dumble clone, a fuchs overdrive supreme, and I'm still in love with it. But yours, I think, has something different, something special... Hard to describe after seen a video here on youtube. But I think you did the job, the essence of that kind of dumble-ish style amp. Have you started your own company, yet? You need to do that. Find a partner with the dosh! Think big! Write to Vertex or JHS or whatever company could be interested. Do something!

When you get up & running let us know. There's a lot of us that are interested. It wouldn't be hard to get investors to ve able to start a company making amps and pedals. Then you could make money, lower your costs, and feel good about your product, what you're paying your workers, and the cost of your product. When you're set up to buy parts in bulk the price will come down. Until then $3,500 is more than reasonable.

Hey Nick, I've been enjoying your pedals for several years now, I have, pure drive, rock candy, silicon 108, firefly, and just recently acquired a protype rock candy that's not painted bare metal with a bunch of NOC3 stamps all over the back cover. Your gear is fantastic, and I would love to have one of your amps. Hopefully you can put the pieces in place to get going on this amp project and maybe start producing pedals again. Let us all know how things are going and what kind of help you might need. There's a lot of people out here who want to help. Also went to your art site, super nice paintings, they have a fantasy feel to them, like illustrations from the Hobbit, and Lord of the Rings calender art. I'm sure you're great at whatever you do.
