Very interesting, thank you for the video!! Could you maybe detail in an upcoming video what is happening with the chicken manure, and why you are treating the water with it? I' very curious!
I see that at a lot of farms the water is changed regularly, but when fish are raised in aquaponics the water is recirculated and filtered. Is this avoided due to the risk of blackouts? Or are there other challenges with the filtration process because of the high number of fish?
Hello brother, watching from Jamaica. Question am planning on building 6 Concrete Pond, each will have 24/7 filtration and Aeration with a stocking density of 5000 Tilapia to harvest size of least 1 pound. Which size in "FEET" would you recommend and best to maintain. 30'L × 20' W × 4' depth. OR 35' L × 15' W × 4' depth? Thanks
Well done sir, these are my questions, can sinking a borehole be enough for 20,000 capacity of fish, cause it will get to a stage u need to be changing water everyday, if so what is the depth of the borehole and what is the horsepower of the pumping machine???
How are you bro? Thanks for the hard work, I want to ask you about something I really love and want, do you have turkey? And if Yes do you sell some? I really need some of them, and can you transport them to in Liberia if I buy them from you?if Yes, what is the cost of a pair of turkey,
Thanks for this very useful video. With reference to water management, are there ways to re-use the dirty water from the fish tanks? For example instead of throwing that water away, can the system be designed in a way that the dirty water is used for plants and vegetables or be filtered or cleaned in a way that it can be returned to the fish tanks and the recycled wasted containing the droppings from the fish and uneaten feeds, can be used as a fertiliser? This means that very little is wasted. I just think that the fact of throwing the dirty water away, is a waste but also can be harmful to the environment, especially in parts of Ghana where a draining system like gutters, are virtually inexistent. I am interested in sustainable fish farming, hence my question. Thanks.
Yes fish waste water is a rich source of organic fertilizer and also the water can be recycled through a filtration system and reintroduced into the pond
Bro how much time to take cure ciment tank, am made a 150 liter small ciment pond in my home,am from india. Now the problem is the ph rise to maximum, My tank is 15 day old Am refill water every morning My water ph is 6 but after refil that day evening the ph shows 13 . Why
Do you know the source of water? If there’s enough water been pumped how does the project struggle due to the size of the inlet pipe? Do you care to explain further?
Please stop sharing videos if you're not prepared to talk to people on phone for discussions or advice. The general complaint is that you never pick up calls even though you've displayed your number for contact.
The general complaint from which people, who did you speak with that claimed I never pick up calls. Even if I miss a call, I return almost every call I miss and text back to almost every WhatsApp message, so who is making a complaint? Have you called and I didn’t answer?
