Can you do a full steering lock wihout rubbing?

@@janeznovak5208 Yes, you might have a little trouble with 9J wheels but a UK friend of mine made them fit without rubbing

I got one. It’s worth it. Bought just because I liked style didn’t think much of it as I wasn’t a bmw at the time. Drive it everyday and now I’m hella into it. Poor man’s race car.

You wont regret it I bought one for daily and I want another one to build it

I’ve owned and built a few over the years and I’ve never wanted to die more when fixing them, but I’ll always remember and love them always

After 2 years I finally found one that I really like. 320I Sedan with 160.000 kilometers driven. The Engine is in great condition but stuff like seals, bushings and rust needs to get repaired. I'm looking forward to transforming this one into my dream car and keeping it nice. Let's see how well this goes! Dream came true!

Dat wist ik niet, heb hier eigenlijk nog iemand over gehoord met PU bussen. Ben van sowieso van plan later naar Uniball te gaan voor de draagarmen, dan kijk ik even wat ik met het subframe doe. Iniedergeval bedankt voor de tip! Ik ga het in de gaten houden

Maatje van mij had zwarte en donkerblauwe powerflex bussen (de hoogste shore hardheid van dat assortiment) in z'n e36 M3 subframe gezet en binnen het jaar was het subframe bijna 5mm "omhoog" gegaan, en zat er dus ook zoveel speling naar "onderen" op (bij optillen kon sub dus zakken). Zelf heb ik het gezien in draagarm bussen, na een a 2 jaar zijn ze waardeloos; alle spanning is er uit en soms zelfs met de draagarmen uit het center. Is echt iets voor een raceauto waarbij je steeds dingen vervangt. Maar goed als het een raceauto is kun je sowieso voor kogels gaan, dat mag echter niet altijd.

@@mennovanleeuwen it's a known issue. Doesn't really matter the power level. Plus it's good insurance. I'm all about doing it once.
