I love the colours of the bricks. You have a lot of land and the wall looks very elegant. Good job.👍🏼 You looked healthy...wouldn't have known you had Covid if u hadn't mentioned it. 🙂
labor costs in america are insane. the materials probably were probably only around 10-25k (depending on where in the country you live) but each of those guys are getting paid like $16-$30/hr and then the company has to profit off that so +whatever % of their cost ontop of that etc.
At first I thought this was a diy job. Bricklayers? The joints looks too big and pointing very messy. And what are the two 4inch walls bonded together with? A few rows of headers would have done this and provided the strength needed. English garden wall bond, or the strongest bond English bond. One row of stretcher then one row of headers. I can’t see this brickwork lasting very long without cracks appearing….🙄
ya I dont really understand why they would build this wall. I want a wall for my property but I made sure to get a property that was surrounded by forrest so a wall could be hidden. Need to imbed a wall perimeter system or cameras or its essentailly worthless. I could jump over that thing in about 3 seconds and so could most. Its kind of a retarded position for a wall. I bet the boomer who built it is an Anarcho capitalist playing make believe. That thing wouldnt protect him from liteally anything at all.
