Wow, great job for two would-be Carpenters! The catio l👀ks amazing! I can't wait to see the accessories put into place. Are you going to treat the wood to protect it from the rain and sun? Remember to add another lock at the bottom of the door because Billy is big enough to push through. I think we'll get an update to say you've built another one for someone.💰🤭👍🏼

Looks great, but I’d suggest adding the chicken wire to that spot by the fence. Billy might not be able to get out that way, but he may get stuck behind there. I’d be paranoid lol

You both did an amazing job and Billy seemed to be loving it. I'd love to see an update once the furniture is in. I think you've made a very responsible decision for Billy by building him a catio. He's probably never going to be a street smart cat and could end up in all sorts of trouble if he was given free rein. The only point I wanted to make was that I would put a lock on the bottom of the door as well so that he can't push it open and squeeze through. Maybe you've already done this though so forgive me if that is the case? Well done to you both xx 😽

I have a cat myself and you would do anything for them because you love them so much, they a part of your life, I had one cat that escaped, I won’t tell you all the details but lots and lots of tears were shead anything to keep them safe and happy. Well done.

If you guys can successfully complete a project like this, you can probably work your way thru almost anything and still be together! Congrats to you both and congrats to Billy for having a catio built with love. It looks so spacious and inviting. I'm sure Billy will be a little more patient about getting his catio furniture and scratching stations. Maybe the side against the wood fence could be a designer wall adorned with some of Billy's favorite home decor. I'm confident he'll let you know! Cheers!

I just put down a small piece artificial grass on the decking for my baby. It comes by the meter and was super cheap. Something he can roll on and sun himself 😊great team work you two!!!! 🎉❤

the bottom section of the door is spot to escape if he pushes against it , because the door lock is securing more of the top section
