Great job! Chickens are happy! I did no you could uses bags of wood mulch! On the roof you should have stuck the new roofing under the old roof so the water doesn't run in the chicken run! Love your channel!

I know that coop don't weigh much, but you might put a couple 2x4 blocks under your coop legs attached to the leg extensions, just to take the load off those screws. Just a thought.

Love it. It's how real people do DIY; re-use, go with the flow, realize its for chicken, and cheap is better than perfect. Too many other videos out there showing, how to make it look pretty vs cost efficient. Love the door stopper!

Didn't see the old coup😞 Nice that your weather is warm and you are able to work outside. We have had rain here in St. Louis Missouri for days and we are under a stay at home order. Can't wait for it to stop raining so we can work in the yard. 👍👍👍

First in our state (NC), so it's spotty over here on who's doing what. We expect others will follow suit soon which I guess is best. It doesn't seem like the illness is "here" yet, but they're also not testing much anymore. We just pray for a quick healing and restoration for everyone.

Y'all are great, and i love the coop and the new run. It looks great! Money and fancy isn't everything, as long as the chickens are happy and your happy, that's all that matters! I just built a similar, smaller coop and run for my silkies, cochin, and rose comb bantams out of wood from old pallets and yes a $5 gallon, on sale, paint and left over chicken wire from all my bigger girls' coop and run. They all seem to be very happy and so am i, so i say "job well done" to the both of us! God bless you and your family for keeping it country

the drills with the portable chargers are better than popcorn when you need to work out in the yard. I remember having to have a hundred foot electric cord to reach out in the yard. Did you ever see Green Acres on the T.V. ? My kitchen is just like their kitchen. Plug in a third appliance and turn it on and the fuse pops off.

It's so fun to watch you guys and your chores! You get along so well and interact with such a good sense of humor . Reminds me of my hubby and I in our younger days when we had all those chores to do on our property. Never ending and it still is ongoing or in a fashion if the rain ever stops! Ughhhhh No worry about distancing on living out here on the property but we do have our moment's of counting to 10 or 100 whatever the case may be! LOL Never ending tasks but it's fun to get tasks off the list and move forward! Have a great week guys and thanks for the ride along with you! Blessings and stay healthy!

start adding the tin on the side next to the barn and then you can walk your way out never needing to climb up on the roof.. Then you can just climb up a step ladder and stick your head thru the rafters to add screws till you get to the last piece, which will be on outside edge and no problem

You two...the best teamwork around! Great job! Yes, one could make a chicken coop look good enough for people to live in, but it's for chickens!! Your chickens are happy with the improvements, I'm sure. Hey, I have heard that the "illness" that's going around doesn't survive long in warm temperatures. A British couple who had "it" reported that getting some sunshine was part of their treatment, so to speak. It looks like you all had quite a day for the family to be getting some healthy sunshine. We are praying multiple times a day for a blessing and remedy from this thing! Being outside makes us feel better and more normal, and if the sun helps, then bring it on... in moderation... I burn easy (Sam). 😂 Thank you, and be safe your way, too!
