I recently purchased a comic collection for around $300. This video is about the process of selling that collection and the next steps to build a comic buying and selling business using the resulting sales. I will continue to make updates whenever I buy or sell new books as a part of the business and when I get questions that I can address as part of the comments.
Let's see what we can build this up to.
I hope this helps anyone that is looking to get into the buying and selling side of comics.
I'll continue posting more content weekly!

This was Awesome!! I learnt way more than I thought I would. I feel a lot more confident about starting my comic book business now. I like how transparent you were with how you price your books and how you order your finances. Its really hard to find people in the comic book industry that are open and honest about how they run their business so this was really refreshing. You sir, just got a new subscriber!

I am enjoying these updates. I get caught in stacking bigger books to send into CGC for grading. Particularly high grade moderns which are worth around $20-$40 raw, but 9.8s can be in the $200 range, so setting a 9.6 prescreen generally yields nice returns. I have also noticed that my sales on Ebay have increased a lot in the last week. Tax refunds? Keep it up!

Really enjoying this series that you've been putting out I've really been learning a lot I think my problem is I have a very hard time getting rid of keys out of my collection and I think I'm going to have to make some decisions to just let some books go to get some bigger books that I want and realize that stuff always comes back around at some point. Will apologize for not always getting to every video bud but definitely really enjoy what you put out and it's made me a better collector

This is a great series of videos. It will be legendary and reach its natural conclusion with the final purchase of an Action Comics 1, all the way from the lowly start of 475 Bronze Age filler.

I’m really enjoying this series. Last November I listed a pair of my wife’s vintage roller skates on eBay. With one hour left to go in the auction, the high bidder told me to cancel his bid because he bought another pair. I didn’t see the message immediately. He “won” the auction. I confirmed that he didn’t want the skates so I had to cancel the auction and re-list. Although it took another couple of weeks, the skates ended up selling for a higher price. I got lucky in that respect but it was still an annoying experience.

Great info. How do you determine the base price of books if you buy them in a collection. Do you break them down evenly or a specific base price. Thanks
