But it is impossible to provide a good customer experience without having a deep knowledge about the customers, their preferences and their behaviors. With customer data spread across a growing myriad of different touch points and tools, it is increasingly difficult to get a unified and all round view of each individual customer. The concept of a Customer Data Platform arrived with the promise of solving that challenge by collecting, organizing and activating customer data, with good number of platforms already available in the market.
