I wanted to create a gaming room that looks like a castle dungeon, starting from an extra bedroom I had in my old country house. This is home renovation Dungeons & Dragons (DnD, D&D) style!

I made my own gaming room too recently though I just painted my stone work to save money.

Cool. I experimented with painting stonework on one of my walls in my office. I shot that on video somewhere and need to edit that to post. But, I was not really happy with my results. With more practice I could probably do it better though. But, after that experience, I went with the foam rock elsewhere in the house.

Thank you! Yeah, I am surprised more people are doing the "turning an existing table into a gaming table". It is not that difficult. Though, it might also be the case that building a basic table to serve as the foundation might not be that difficult either.

@@EHeathRobinson That is true. I was going to add a thin board underneath the table, then unscrew the lid and take it off, add a gaming pad and it is basically done. However your table is comfortable for players to rest their arms on, which I want to incorporate.

@@bengamingames5002 If I were going to build another one, I think I would try to build the whole thing and integrate a large TV into the table.

@@EHeathRobinson The TV is an awesome feature, my friend wood burned in middle earths map on his table with a TV, it was epic. Do it!

@@bengamingames5002 I might. I think I would not do it until I build a house, and then I would really have to think about what new table I would want. I also really like those table with resin and "live edge" wood. I would love to build one of those.

This looks awesome! What are the dimensions of the room? I want to transform one of the rooms in my house to a game room but not sure if it's big enough.

It is not a large room at all. Maybe 13" by 11' or something like that. Very small for the size of the table, especially when we were also trying to shoot video in there.
