I love playing and running TTRPG games like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, Star Trek Adventures, and more. As a GM I also love creating the worlds that we play in. This new series will explore the tools, tips, and tricks, that I use to create the places, NPC's, and adventures that I present to the players at my table, sometimes on the fly during the game.
Today, I give a quick introduction to my primary note-keeping system, Obsidian Notes.

Interested to see this series. I became a DM more out of necessity than actually wanting to. I tend to stick to campaign settings that others have made than developing my own. I'm currently wanting to make my own setting for the savage worlds game. previously i had been running deadlands and rifts. I'm really looking forward to trying to build my own world and setting.

I don't have a lot of time to prep for game sessions so a lot of time I'm improving stuff at the table on the fly. I use a lot of randomization tools for that and then borrow from published adventures for some things as well. All of which I plan to get into over the series. I hope it helps.
