you know, I was thinking about using that water, but then I decided against it since it would already be a bit dirty. BUT now that you mentioned the dosing aspect I just might! Because I don't plan to dose in this little tank much lol
Awesome job on the scaping! Love the little tanks. I just purchased my very first saltwater setup, used 120g tall. Excited to make it into a mixed reef!! Love the content 👍🏻
Is the back of that tank glass or acrylic? Will glass and acrylic hold over a long period of time if siliconed together? I wasn’t sure if they would hold together. I am planning on doing this too with a 10 gallon tank. Thanks!
this tank has a back all in one chamber. the wall that I siliconed to is plastic. I know a lot of people saw that and said acrylic doesn't adhere well too plastic. luckily we are still holding strong. Not sure how well it would work with a heavier setup tho.
If u really want to hide the epoxy u can take superglue and crush some of that same rock and sprinkle it onto the superglue. It will hide the joints and make them stronger. I wouldnt go on that mission though since it will be covered in corals soon anyway.
haha.. you will quickly learn that I say a lot of things that don't make sense and I have a special ability when it comes to changing names of just about anything. Its just the way it is around here😂
😩 we are holding strong so far.. I have been reading it's not so bonding like water tight but will hold. We shall see. I went based off a floating rock I saw a guy do in a 10 gal, which is a lot more rock weight than this so hopefully all is good.
