Building a future together in Mozambique through School Meals 

World Vision works in Mozambique with a number of partners in the “Educating Children Together” (ECT) programme, funded by the United States Department of Agriculture, through its McGovern-Dole Food for Education Programme in Nampula, one of Mozambique’s poorest provinces. Under the leadership of Mozambique’s Ministry of Education, ECT brings together national and international NGOs, the private sector and communities to deliver integrated school meals programmes to improve education, health and nutrition outcomes for school-aged children.
World Vision is part of the School Meals Coalition, an initiative of governments and a wide range of partners to drive actions that can urgently re-establish, improve and scale up food and education systems, support pandemic recovery and drive actions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
