Hello i would like to see longer videos also, please. If you are digging dirt and rock. That is fine also! With the music and you talking and nature it is peaceful to watch! I could watch you build all day. Tell your wife and kids, for supporting you in your cabin build. Mrs. Offgrid Experience thankyou also for everything that you do! See you in Nature two weeks from now . Thankyou you again
Was excited to see you starting a new series. The trail cams are a nice addition. And keeping the "bloopers" in there is a classy touch as well. I look forward to seeing more
A new Beginning From one Build to another, improving your life and lifestyle.. I'll be here. At least the main cost in this build will be labor and heart.
Oh WOW. You know its good when it starts and all of a sudden its over. I really enjoyed all the extra videography surprises you included. The slow-motion moment with the tree and the drone footage. The wildlife footage was great. My retirement home here in Kentucky is a mere two or three weeks away from completion but oh how I would love to be young again to build my own. The knowledge you share is practical and creative. I know I'm going to enjoy this. Thanks for Sharing. Cheers!
I admire your perseverance .. your tenacity .. everything you’ve accomplished is creatively awesome .. 👍‼️your videos are captivating / fascinating to watch .. ‼️
Well I seen you fall bro I've done the same thing and you know what that shit hurts but I hope you're okay keep up the good work got to use those logs for your base of your cabin
Like your videos! One thing. On your overhead shots of the new cabin's foundation, to me it doesn't look square, but I'm sure you checked it for being square, right?
@KeninPen haha....good eye. It's actually the root cellar that is a bit off, creating an optical illusion. I've got to dig out the one side a little more to square it up. The cabin piers are within a half inch corner to corner, which is good enough for me!
I have 5 trees as large as the first one you cut down, downed. But No Sawmill wants to come get them unless I pay them over 2500. Not even the one just 3 miles down the road. No Independent person either. And the are downed were I was going to build my "Tiny House".. No way to move them myself. Had One person come look at them, ask a bunch of questions of if I was worried about him leaving ruts and said he wood... I said no, do what you need to do... Two days later called him and asked when he was coming and he simply said, "No" and hung up.. ???? No Clue or Reason. The guy who cut them for me only charged Half Price of 2500 ( and took payments ) and had to cut down a couple more just to get the ones Needing to be cut, cut.. ALL Aimed at the camper I live in, if they fell on their own.. He can't move them because he recently ( at time of posting this ) had surgery on a shoulder. Been 3 months since he cut them down. Not even his father or sons who all own sawmills of their own will come. So I either have to buy a Chainsaw just to cut them into small enough sections I can move myself or wait to let them Rot.. Can't burn them. Too many other trees in the way and a power line. Also, How do you deal with Mice and other Critters from trying to get their way in? They do and Can Chew through Wood. I have Mice and Rats that keep coming in through a Hole in the Bottom of the Camper I was only able to block enough of to keep the Opossums and other Critters that size out and had to put 6" wide Sheet Metal at the bottom of my front Wood Door both sides because they chewed their way in through that.. Mice only need a 1/2in Hole/Crack and a Rat a 1in hole. And Glue Traps don't work to well in fall, winter, spring time, even here in Florida. Snap Traps, they eat around the Trigger. Poison Pellets, Eat them like Candy. Dual Tone Ultra Sound, Sit on it and clean themselves. Don't get me started on Roaches and Ants..
@ravenlorans I hate to hear that, but I understand how much work it is to cut it down and cut it up. I'm not even halfway done with cutting mine up. It was 28" diameter at the base. I hated to cut it down, but it was hanging right over where the cabin will be built. At least I'll have firewood for years from that thing!
@TheOffGridExperience haha right! Like ur channel keep up the good work!! The ones who keep it real, meaning true to who they are and the lifestyle will long outgrow these fake fraudulent channels geared on misleading people in every way imaginable... nice build!!
