The cheap spray foam works well. No need to buy the expensive stuff. Just make sure to let it sit for about 24-48 hours after you do a few cans of foam so it can fully expand and harden. I did 3 cans then let it rest for a day, then 3 more cans, then another rest. Also, before you paint, you might want to let it sit for a few days. After i painted this one, it still expanded a bit more and i wound up having to do a lot of touch ups.

What size of pvc pipe did you use? This is such a great idea. We are about to have our trailer finish and would love to make one if you don’t mind me using your idea.

I am pretty sure it was just a 1 inch pipe. It was from lowes. They have a section of pre cut lengths of 5 or 6 feet lengths. That is what mine was.
