as an artist, i would probably do just as well painting those lines. it's way harder than it sounds and the tools WERE in fact the problem. i was thinking a smaller brush, but the paint marker idea was genius.

That last coop type fight setup actually serves very well in supporting my argument that multiplayer can be fun even if its turn based. DQ9 did it that you could have your own character join your friends team, and all you really did was make your own choices when it was your turn. Something people would say is useless and does not merit any benefit. But here it just shows that it doesn't need to. Simply giving responsibility of a party member to friends leads to much more fun and chaos.

A tip for if you ever do painting like this in the future - try putting your elbows on the table and stabilizing with them, while you paint. Essentially pinching the object between your hands while you rely only on your fingers to move the brush/tip. It works really well for miniature painting for D&D/Warhammer, so I imagine the results would only be better on something bigger (like a baseball bat keyboard)

I’m a simple person, I see glarses upload, and I watch with the pure mindset of “What the heck will happen this time?” That was fantastic

In a more advanced way, you could have done this work for the holographic keyboard, right? By rather than putting it in an object you could find a way to strap it to your hand and create gyro controls for each input. In theory, you could create an imaginary keyboard by placing small gyro/location sensors on different parts of the hand and making different hand movements line up with inputs on a keyboard. Sort of like a sign language keyboard. This would be very difficult logistically to make it in the first place,let alone make it good, but it would be pretty cool if someone was able to pull it off.

I did the exact same thing with 3d-printed dice. Drove myself crazy trying to get my black paint in the lil detailed numbers and then wipe off the excess without undoing my work. Switched to a fine-tipped Sharpie and was done in five minutes.

Camera thing! From what I know, video/photography cameras have a stop coded into them so that they aren't legally considered security cameras, which are taxed very differently than cameras that have "recording limits" coded into them. That's why cameras randomly stop after a while of filming, even if they have tons of memory and aren't overheating. It's cheaper to import them since they can't be classified as security cameras. It's not necessarily a flaw with your camera, just something built into it, I hope that helps you in future!

Hey Glarses. Next time for painting stuff like that, look up the technique reverse wash, that way you can avoid painting the detail paints by hand. Its a technique model kit builders use like for gunpla and stuff.
