Liquid pool chlorine and water at a 1 to 3 mix and a few drops of dish soap in a pump sprayer will also work .... much cheaper... 😎👍

Yeah it will be interesting. We are renovating my wife's house in Cavite. Thos videos are on our other channel. Also you can do a simple clean of the aircons every 3 to 6 months by just opening the cover of the indoor units and removing the filters and rinsing them in hot water then put them back in

Hi Greg and Wilma,,,,, tiles look good... regarding the mould,,, go to a sari sari store and buy a bottle of Zonrox,,,the white bottle not the purple bottle,,, that is great for removing stains in clothes and washing....... 200 ml bottle white one dilute 70 to 1 being water and spray,,, not on plants,,,, its instant,,, I use it here in Dipolog,,, enjoy.

Thanks for showing me how the tile patterns work. Now I have another reason to hate doing tile...lol Make sure you get bleach that is okay for your sprayer. Have tried that with regular bleach and my sprayer only worked that one time. Your tiling project is really coming along. Thanks for sharing, Wilma and Greg...Jim

Not sure if you can find it but we use “Wet it and Forget It” in our shower. It’s not for heavy cleaning of mold but a great maintenance to keep it from starting. Also for heavy cleaning get the liquid chlorine for your pool. That’s much stronger. You can dilute it . I think regular Clorox is 5%. They also have chlorine in a gel solution that sticks better to the surface rather than running off.
@jsully4064

Have used '30 Seconds' comes in a gallon jug with a sprayer (basically bleach) and it works for mold.

Hi Greg, I would suggest you use epoxy grout. Dont need to seal and won’t shrink or crack like traditional grout and is extremely more hard wearing.

For the mold. Using Chlorox can be expensive...I had a property in the Dominican republic and had the same issue... The local maintenance guys use diluted Muriatic acid (typically used to balance the PH level in our pool. ) much cheaper...at least in the DR>...🙂

Your hot water tank is a battery. Put it on a timer, increase the temp to say 70 deg C, and fit a tempering valve set to 60 degrees
@buildingthephilippines
@buildingthephilippines Месяц назад
We have on demand hot water heaters, no tank.
@jerrymarshall2728

I can't remember, Greg (old brain 😂🤣). Did you plumb your house with whole-house hot water? Or is it typical Filipino style with each room having a heater? We're meeting with another designer/builder this afternoon, and I wanted to present to him the possibility of whole-house hot water. The last builder, on Monday, would only agree to multi-point hot water in each T&B, and a heater for the kitchen (laundry is outside the kitchen). That builder wasn't versed in whole-house hot water. We'll also be building the house with solar, and dual voltage (220v and 110v), giving us more versatility with appliances and tools. It will cost more, buy buy once, cry once... 😂🤣 Happy house, happy spouse ❤️😂🤣
@buildingthephilippines
@buildingthephilippines Месяц назад
We did on demand hot water heaters. I think they are more efficient as you're not storing hot water. That was my thought process.
@jerrymarshall2728
@jerrymarshall2728 Месяц назад
@@buildingthephilippines the small electric ones that I put in the showers? We'll probably use multipoint heaters that can give hot water to the sink and shower, using only 1 heater. We'll use one in the kitchen, joined to the laundry. It's the best I can do, I assume? My former U.S. house had on-demand hot water, but that was for the entire house. It's what I originally wanted, but builders here look at me like I'm from outer space, when I suggest it 🤪

Why not do the dirty kitchen in that flower pattern that you choose before? Break it up and then don' t have to worry about running out of the same lot.
@buildingthephilippines
@buildingthephilippines Месяц назад
@jonjaso4002 that tile is a bit more porous and would stain back there, with frying food.
