I think they kind of cheated because it is not REALLY curved walls but curved rooms and you are limited while building or have to take 1000 extra steps to make things work 🙄 but your work is amazing! 😍

i mean its pretty expectable since the sims 4 obviously didnt come out at first with the curved walls so adding it to a game that hasnt been built to support that it obviously has glitches BUT they will hopefully start to fix the bugs☺️

@@sydmac One of the options for number of corners should be 0 so you can include the round walls.

2:12 yesterday I was building with the new round walls. since I didn't want to try and roof that monstrosity, i found out that in order to put fences on spaces like this you need to take a round platform, place it on top of the curved floor, and use the arrows to move platforms down by one, and then the fences are able to be snapped together like that if that makes sense. I didn't finish the video yet so if u figured that out this comment doesn't rlly have a point.😅

You have to be one of the most patient Sims RU-vidrs. Almost all of the others I have seen do the round house build gave up trying to make it look nice halfway through and were just like, well this is the best we can do. But you stuck with it and made yet another stunning build, I am always super impressed watching your build videos.

I saw another YT'er use the curved deck/platform up on the roof of each floor and that seemed to help add fences up on other floors... but, they still glitched as you did with the flooring. Really hope that the team continues work on this and just doesn't leave it as is. Very promising though. Of course you'd make it work! :D Great job!

Amazing build! Love the combination of cozy, warm colors and modern shapes. But can't help being disappointed in the sims team. An update that breaks your game and the rounded walls don't even work properly? Not surprised anymore at this point..

I built one of my favorite of my own builds Ever for my legacy family with the new round walls (i basically just made a big Southern USA house with a rounded section of the house + rounded deck) and I definitely had so many bugs & glitches while I was messing around and the roof looks terrible but I still love it! But lord yours is the first fully round house I've thought was absolutely gorgeous! Everyone else was kinda dealing with a time crunch and stuff but you are such a good builder and I was super excited to see what you'd do with it now that its out! And it truly is so pretty I really love the color scheme especially!

You definitely outdone yourself here, Syd 🤩 I'm amazed at what you did, this looked so industrial and cold at the beginning, but then the indoors are one of the best, clean, cozy I've seen on Sims 4, did not expect this to be this good!! What a build! And the views from the inside plus the landscaping and the lot itself, you really made inly the best choices, it all looks like it belongs together. Absolutely one of your best builds so far. Love it 🥰✨️

i've always had issues with the rounded decks (exactly the same issues i saw with the round walls in this build) so i didn't have high hopes for the round walls lol but i'm excited to see them in the game and hope the sims team can fix the bugs associated with round walls/platforms/fences soon! as usual though you killed it with this build, you always inspire me to try new things out!

You can build round foundations on top of the round rooms. Then you are able to auto place rounded fence up there! 😊❤️ Like always, I loved watching this! Amazing outcome! 🤩

I tried building round rooms, they came out wonky, so I watched this to see if it showed how to do it and make them actually round. I see you had to resize to make it work.

rounded walls work way better in big rooms or with the big curves, the small ones are almost impossible to use, when u try placing a shelf it just snatches to the roof, and if u somehow get it into the rom where u want it, you cant pick it up again at all... so incredibly difficult

Ok so I just got the sims so I’m kind of new to everything, I have no idea how to swivel items, even when alt placing I can only angle it using the right side of my mouse, do I have to hold that down while pressing alt, idk I just can’t seem to figure it out, but I can alt place and scoot things where I want them

I'm getting divorced vibes from this sim. Like he had a wife and a couple kids, but she cheated on him, left him for the AP and got custody, but he was already in the process of buying this house for the family. Now that he's alone he's given it that bachelor pad vibe, but he still has things like the big table for when his kids come to visit.

I love this build! I think the issue is that the game at its age and being based on a grid. Kind of pushing it’s limits. Might take them a minute figure out a solution because of the engine and how the game was created originally. Just an opinion though.

There are so many glitches after the recent update. I don’t have any mods but I’ve already noticed that everyone seems to inaccurately have some kind of celebrity status, my need like hygiene don’t go back up after showering it will be completely yellow and my sims have to be told at least twice to do something before they will complete the action 🤬

Боже мой всё оказалось гораздо хуже чем я думала. Круглые стены очень сырые для игры, могли кстати всунуть стрелочку как с крышей, чтобы выделить стену которую игрок хочет изогнуть. Но зачем пускай мучаются.
