In this episode of building a hunting cabin, we finally start building the front porch. Very soon, this building is going to take shape and I can't wait to share it with you guys. So make sure you are subscribed and have hit the bell so you are notified of any future videos
I can't believe it, but the Milwaukee Gen 3 impact beat my favorite impact driver of all time...the Metabo HPT Triple hammer. How many of you honestly guessed that it would lose to the Milwaukee? Regardless both of those drivers are amazing and you couldn't go wrong with either

For me, the ideas in ru-vid.comUgkxy_pn55PK60wAV3X_C_RoLS_67mNonoCE Plans were a starting point for building different sheds . Ryan gives ideas that allow an individual to draw nicest conclusions into the design and building of his or her own shed.

"Im assuming if I was a finish carpentry guy...sheesh...which we are"....Sorry, love that humor. I am a woodworker and love it when guys like yourselves, who are highly skilled professionals in your own right, are able to keep it real and humble with some self deprecating humor. And...like...I really think that a woodworker would never be able to handle your job because we would take way to long trying to achieve woodworking utopia with the finished product. Kudos to you guys for what you do so well.

This is such a great build. Really like how many roof lines there are and how you are showing guys like me how they all come together. I'm a very visual person and without knowing exactly how the finished product is supposed to look, it is really satisfying to see the the steps it takes to get there.

In your test with the 2 impact drivers - i think the only reason there was any difference was that you used the Milwaukee in your right hand both times. If you are a righty then you likely were able to push a bit harder with the Milwaukee - you can even sort of see that particularly in the second round. Your right arm was certainly pushing harder and your body weight was centered more over your right arm while your left hand was just sort of extended out there and not able to provide the same down-pressure.

Hey Kyle, first off: love your videos. Keep up the good work, stay safe and healthy! One thing I noticed while watching is, that whenever you guys are building a porch, you're using single pieces of wood as your top beam. Why not use a single, continuous piece of engineered lumber like a LVL beam? Is that a cost decision? Personally, I wouldn't do the three piece beam, but rather the single beam, with a halflap joint when the span is too high. But that's just me. Greetings from a German carpenter.

Average weight of a sheet of 5/8 from the three Advantech mills is 69.66 pounds per sheet. A bunk is 55 sheets - you said minus three sheets. That means 52 sheets times 69.66 - that JCB lifted 3,622.66 pounds in your demonstration. Yeah....I have way too much time on my hand.
