Oh wow.....impressive so far, always wanted a lotus 7 or copy since i was a small boy due the TV series "The Prisoner" from the 1960's!!!! A good start so far, looking forward to the next Visit.

Why no mention of the XI? This is the car that Westfield started off with 40 odd years ago and is still going strong as a product today.

Westie or tiger for me ,westie are very professional strong ,built right and great fun my tiger was mine and my sons favourite because of the cost 😂and the searching for parts pinto powered with a load of money spent on the engine don’t tell the wife but great fun happy days ahead 👍👨🏻‍🏭

Thanks for the comment Paul, yeah Westfield certainly have dialled in the quality and design. With some very nice touches. We are looking for something with easy to source parts, a path for future tweaks and not budget Busting. Not an easy task 😂

We are very lucky with what’s available and the rules we have to adhere too that’s for sure. We just don’t get the nicer weather 😂

Has anyone done a kitcar with a audi tt mk1? that would be fun !!!

That would be cool, defiantly something to look at in the future, be quite a lot more work as will need to manufacture mounts, prop etc plus would either need to make it 4wd or look at using the a4 1.8t engine and making it rwd

Lad down the south coast built a Jago Jeep using a Skoda 4x4 octavia or golf he used it for hill trialing 👍👨🏻‍🏭

"Sportscar" not "Kit Car." LOL. The term kit car can have somewhat of a negative connotation.

It’s up for interpretation as you get given a kit of parts, the fact you simply assemble them makes it more of a sports car. I think kit goes back to a time when you built it from scratch like a locust etc.

Shame westfield has gone into administration. I have a westfield and I would highly recommend having one. Second hand market is now the only option. Advice about the Q plate was not correct. Do your own research.
