Today I came across your channel for the first time and I am totally impressed with your work and your knowledge. Your demeanor seems so humble and honest. It is also heartwarming hearing both you and your brother coming together to make it all possible...a home that will be cozy and comfortable. I would like to know if you have ever considered installing a vent over the stove which would provide ventilation from inside to the outside? If no...is there a reason? Thank you very much and very glad you found my channel to be very useful. With regard to the kitchen, i haven't considered a vent for the stove, reason being, I'd wanted to stay within budget and being there for some time now, it has really been okay without a vent. Also this was a starter house and didn't wanted to spend so much on it. Hopefully on the main house which is yet to begin, i will consider that feature in it. 😊
Did you glue the granite on top of the cabinets (or use screws) or just the silicone was enough? How about the one on the sides? Also the edge of the cabinet facing where you stand, did you chamfer the edge or how did you make it smooth after cutting?
