Love that tower for sure. There are some great examples of stacked circular towers in the Lego Architecture Idea Book by Alice Finch also. I think I would build the internal winding staircase free of the wall itself to make it more stair-like. Great stuff.
God how awesome it is, like imagine playing DnD with Lego, that means the DM can literally create any map he want much easely which both customable and reusable. And you can even see your character got a beyter gear by swaping his body or his weapon
I’m loving this new area! I have some suggestions for you: -A bed in the same spot where the cat is and of course he should be on top of it! -The cauldron stick could be hanging in the wall just like the spiders web. -One solution for the entrance could be a wooden trapdoor on the floor. -You could make a very steep and weird rocky staircase to looks like is missing some steps. Keep it up the good job!
Perhaps the staircase hole issue could be solved with a trap door? That way you don’t lose any space in the room above necessarily and still have an access point? 🧙♂️ love the tower.
So cool! One thing you could do to break up the light gray would be to replace some of the cylinders with dark gray. Oh, and you should totally take one off the skeleton arms off like that’s the one in the cauldron! Lol
Love these videos! Always appreciate the tips and tutorials for the different parts you use. Do you have any of those “hatch” plates where the door flips up? You could swap out a floor plate with one of those so it’s a magic access into the tower. Then you could still put a desk or furniture on top of it
Looking rad! I really like the castle setup. One of my favorite gifts when I was a kid was when my folks got me the Lego castle in 1995. Been goofing off with legos ever since!
My only critique, would be that it would look much better with some wood framing. For the door, some columns, maybe you could replace some bricks with snot bricks to attach some wooden columns outside of the circle.
Wow! That tower looked great! It could be even better if you put it on a hill. But the design was spot on, superb! However, the tents are a bit tacky, like the fabric looks too thick or something. I would have no idea what they were supposed to be, if you didn’t tell me.
I doubt since it’s his design and not an official Lego Set. Though admittedly I could see it as one whether Jordan was ultimately to submit it through Lego Ideas or Bricklink Designer process. First though he would need a way to create the instructions which I don’t think he knows how/has the means to do.
the towers amazing but maybe you could switch the towers location with the lego version because your tower is in the middle blocking the view of the castle on the hill
The hero tents look great! Your commentary on placement of both the tents and the castle inspired a building-related question... is there a way to use the studs (and, ideally, a formula of some sort to calculate placement) to attach things like that at non-square angles to the baseplate? And the wizard's tower is *amazing*... especially the plan for the internal staircase. Multiple internal floors would be awesome too... and you could use the same pieces used for the stairs to provide non-secure support for the floors, but you'd need a horizontal row around the tower at each floor's height... and I don't know how much more difficult that would become to assemble. Another thing you could do to make the tower a bit less monochromatic would be to replace some of the masonry bricks and cylinders with dark gray... but I think the vegetation looks great and does enough to add some variety.
Cool tower! The transition from cylinder to the flat top part could benefit from some support or widening of the cylinder. Just so it doesn’t look like the top was simply popped on. Cheers.
For me personally ive been obsessed with the idea of creating a full lego medieval display. This looks so cool. I would love if you could expand it further with adding another table. And if somehow you could put rivendell in here and expand that too like a lord of the rings section in here, it would just be so sickk 🔥🔥
Really cool builds Bricksie, I love this moc its so awesome. Do you plan to expand this in the new space later this year? You seem to really have a passion for castle could be a cool subtheme of Bricksie videos.
As a graphic designer I must say this is the Thumbnail design you should stick with! Just a couple of focal points stand out rather than putting multiple images in a small thumbnail 👍
Your creation is very cool, this area is becoming more and more inspiring, after all who doesn't like castles, wizards and kings... congratulations on the work and your channel, hugs from your fans in Brazil
Can I make a suggestion as to a replacement for evil Majisto. There is an evil wizard that came out in the fantasy era of castle in 2007. Conveniently named “evil wizard” or “Mallock” when released on the gaming app Lego heroes unboxed. Bricklink no CAS326. Should add a bit of colour and spice to the battle.
Can I make a suggestion? You could leave the castle straight, bring it foward, so that drawbridge hand over the cliffs and your ramp could be start "crooked" and then get it right, leaving a gap, so that drawbridge really be useful lol. Cheers from Brazil ✌
Will your future Lego city (when you get the warehouse) be inspired by Brickcrafts ? He also has quite a big area to work with and has sky with clouds painted on the walls.
I think you should made the heroes camp like some siege camp by adding bonfire or a flag or some makeshift horse stable. And also maybe add a couple of store stall or some housing around the path that led to the inn? And how about combining the old tower and the new one?
I wonder if there is any Lego fabrics, capes or sails that you could use as openings for the hero tents? That would be a super slick way to finish them off a bit!
Love the wizard tower, super creative! The natural aspects do help break up the grey. Have you considered using some of the dark brown to create some supports under the topic section? The would help break up the color further and help the top look a bit more balanced. Draw inspiration from the blacksmith in terms of additional colors you could add to the tower.
This was a great video. I enjoyed your tips and tricks and love the MOCs! I was surprised you didn't put a 1x4 tile on the doorstep to cover those studs. I've been watching for years, enjoy your work. I can't wait to see what you do in the new area!
The design is awesome. Can imagine it too in the dragon masters colour scheme (black with grey detaols and red roof), but thats just me craving for such retro aesthetic. Do you put some of your designs in Rebrickable?
Awesome! I love these building techniques. Your videos are so inspiring, and it is great that you show us the techniques and process you used to build. Keep up the great content!
This was such an amazing episode full of storytelling and so many cool building techniques and the new angles of building layout bringing it truly to a life like feel. Keep it up this is so great bricksie
Think the cones on the roof need to be wider a bit taller so it makes more sense mabey made with plate the pre molded cone just takes away from rest of the build witch look really good
What if you added the tower to the corner of the castle base with rock work under it to adding hight to the tower and you wouldn't need the square base ! keep the place just add the rock work adding to the base.
