Yanis has become such a sparkling gem! He has grown exceedingly and come into his own with all the polishing he has received from working on this project. He definitely has developed a wonderful shine🤗
The plan sounds like it will be a show stopper, just like the kitchen. Billy, I can't say enough about how sweet it is to see your father, Mick being a major part of this Library Plan. Team Petherick is on a roll and they are all sharing in getting this job completed. I think we will all look forward to Simon and Alex returning as well. Crack On!
Wow 😮
Janis has become very proficient! He is fearless and has an incredible work ethic! It seems he has absorbed the best attributes of those around him! Your Dad, Billy, is a great support and your recognition of his valued contribution is appreciated. I am enthralled with this latest project! Looking forward to seeing Alex and Simon back on the scene too!
The outing with yourself (Billy) and Phil has brought out a whole new character in Yanis. He seems to be getting more confident daily, probably in the knowledge he’s now an essential member of your team. Love seeing you all together.
I really enjoy watching Mick and Yannis work together. Yannis shows so much respect to Mike and they work really well together. Watching them share a smile or a laugh warms my heart. You have assembled a great Team, Billy. This project and its progress has been very entertaining to watch with so many great people working together. I also wanted to thank you for keeping Yannis' trust by not sharing any footage you may have gotten of your lively weekend out. Watching Yannis come out of his shell, grow confidence and skills has been a joy. Trust is very important when you feel safe enough to let loose a bit. By not sharing the footage, you and Phil are proving what great guys you both are. I'm glad you all made it Home safely and that the Mission was successful.
I love seeing Mick wear his helmet and a saucy angle ❤. A wealth of knowledge he has accumulated over his career as a builder !!! Invaluable 👍 Yiannis is always smiling -. Was he dancing on the scaffolding?!! Woohoo 🥳! Rick is definitely more than just a pretty face 🤣😘. Built like a brick !! Your videos are amazing and entertaining as always ❤ Thank you, Billy for sharing this with us 😘😘❤️
Happy Memorial Day Everyone. Thank you to all Veterans, those with us and those who have gone on, your service to your Countries will never be forgotten. Great vlog Billy, can’t wait to see the finished product.
Veteran’s Day is for those who came back, Memorial Day is to remember those who didn’t come back ALIVE. Memorial Day isn’t supposed to be “happy” for anyone- like “Happy Lent”… it’s supposed to be a reminder of THE PRICE WE PAY IN LIVES FOR FREEDOM.
Only in the US - In Canada we just had "Victoria Day" for Queen Victoria - we remember the war vets on November 11th (the ones that came back & the ones that didn't) - because armistice was signed on the 11th hours of the 11th day of the 11th month after World War I
@@rachelledube-hayes1649 Yes we also celebrate November 11, in the USA. We call it Veterans Day. Memorial Day came after our Civil War it was first called Decoration Day businesses were closed and people decorated the graves of Soldiers with flowers and flags.
I have been wanting to comment on Yanis for sometime now and just got around to it. He is such a hard worker and you are so fortunate to have him working with you. Is there nothing he will not do? He is a great example to all!
This looks like the "Escape to Rural France" part of the convent library build. That guy has been putting in I and C beams and floors like crazy! He consults with an engineer, though.
So interesting & AMAZING to see HOW IT'S DONE! Love seeing Yanis & Mick working together, the most experienced & the dedicated apprentice. Admire that no one has a fear of heights. Although I have experienced that when we are focused on an important task, that fear goes away (at least it did for me, when I was training to do light Urban Search & Rescue for my city's volunteer program, 25 years ago). Anyway, great admiration for you all. I was elated when Billy said that Rick is just a pretty face! Who remembers the Rick Fan Club?? Way back, when he was working almost every day, painting, that there were many comments about how much we like him?? ❤❤❤ I am an old lady, but that smile!!
Another great Petherick video! Yanis and your Dad are living machines, and Rick, Duncan and yourself, Billy, and the big blue lifter will get you through this very exciting week, working in the convent library-to-be gallery. Wow, it is coming along like gang busters!!! Many thanks, hey...
So interesting to hear about the many years of working experience all the men have ........not sure how many years Yanis has been with the team. No matter in what capacity, everyone pitches in and the end result is..........one beautifully restored convent. I really enjoy watching The Pethericks and Company!
Praying all goes as planned, and the equipment is able to handle it. Yennis you make me laugh. As hard of a worker you are, your happiness and the love of hard work makes it enjoyable to watch.
If everyone in the world treated each other as worthy, we'd have a world of Yannis! He's such h an amazing young man! But it's all of you Perthericks and Simon who have guided and taught him! The world should love and guide as you all!
You have to love Yannis for hard working and the way he says Crack On, just love it. With all the flooring removed it looks huge! WOW! Yes a lot of years of expereince when you total it up, till next time.
Phil channel is chateau Life , it’s fab , his beautiful dog Lightning speaks to him ,, and he has a motor mechanic one as well hes doing Al sorts up he really is interesting 🙏🥰
Thank you as always Billy for you. Great videos. Working and doing the filming must be quite difficult, but you do it well. Great to see your professional team, love them all, but I must say Ricks smile lights up the building.😁. Well done to everybody it’s great to see it taking shape.👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🇦🇺
Love seeing Rick and Yanis❤ Always has a beautiful smile❤ I Certainly can not forget about pops definitely a hard worker!! Happy Memorial Day to you all ! from the USA😕🇺🇸
Rick has the muscle in the group, lol. I am still not seeing the picture for what you will do with the steel beams but, just waiting to see how it all comes together. Can't wait to see the library complete and how beautiful and amazing it will be. Great team of men working together.
Please add a staircase IN the library so one does not have to exit the room to go to the upper level. Look at any pictures of libraries, old and new, and they all have an interior staircase.
You’re all doing a fabulous job. I love that Grandad is always helping & supporting Yannis. What a great team you have there Billy. I live in New Zealand, originally from England, and I love watching your videos & the progress you are all doing. Crack On with the great with work.
One of the thing that’s missing in todays world are building/contractors, carpenters. Kudos for teaching and for Yanis learning. There have been over 700 tornados this year here in the states, we lost 15 last night. I hope all of Michael’s friends are safe. Please 🙏🏻 the USA. TY
I think its amazing how this family was able to come together and take on these massive projects, could you imagine if a government agency tried to do this? The budget would be out the window before even a weed was pulled. I also think its quite the time to be alive that we all get to watch from around the world, and in turn it generates revenue for them.
I’m curious, has there been any engineering by a licensed designer for this beam “event”? I recognize the sketch helps simplify things…..in the US we could not do this without a licensed engineer.
Have you checked the strength of the lintel over the window? The lintel is only there to support the wall etc above it, by moving the RSJ to the mid span, you may be adding a significant amount of extra loading.
Y’all are so talented and a really nice group of people. I’ve been watching you build for 3 years,-since before the convent. Beautiful work. I can barely build a card board box but love watching your efforts come to life.
Have you thought about putting a few comfy overstuffed chairs up there? Lots of books, might be a place where you'd want to provide an inviting reading space. Great job so far!
It's very interesting your project but are you getting an engineer or architect's advice? even to make sure your complying with local authority regulations?
This was beautiful to watch Billy, as you got some very artful angles of everybody working on that massive lift /scaffold. Everyone knows what they are doing, and trucks along doing it well. You have a solid team.🖤🇨🇦
Billy - You certainly have a great support team helping in many ways to realize this amazing renovation. Yannis brings a smile to my face with his lighthearted humor. Very excited for Alex & Simon to return to help with the filming and building too, There such gem’s💎. Yay! Crack on! 👏🏼✨🙏🏼💛
Another beautiful journey of father and son creating memories is “The Outsider” channel. They built a log cabin in the wilds of Canada. Your journey is similar and those memories are precious.
