Very well done on a display. I am so glad to see you swapped the green and red panels/lights on the chest box. For some reason that issue just drives me nuts lol
I thought his chest box doesn't light up in ANH? Could be wrong. Anyway, it is a sweet Vader build. Job well done! Definitely something to be proud of. Thanks for sharing.
he looks great, i used a macular mannequin for mine, still needed and have added padding were needed. mine is a work in progress as all ways upgrading parts. yours looks AWSEOME . enjoyed the video
Very nice mod for a good price. When are you posting some videos of your builds during the actual build? Or perhaps some painting, modding tutorials? Love your videos. Always enjoyable and well thought out.
Thanks man. I've been completely consumed by work recently. Hopefully more videos in the near future! I have a mando helment and dredd lawgiver that both needed weathered...
Hey Kevdeo I hope everything is ok with you i haven't seen a new episode yet. And just wondering will you be opening up the community channel for everyone to chat??
I'm just finishing my budget life size Darth Vader it's cost around £40 I've made it out of Recycled Cardboard from scratch and I can wear the helmet move his arms and change his cloaks to suit
So far i replaced the chest box, the belt and the belt boxes,(think i can sell them together?) Im working on replacing the chest armor and plan to repaint the helmet but aiming to do a ROTJ build.

Whu does this costume gate a lot of hate ? I mean the ruby's brand . Hey looks good I mean why spend so much money when u can get a cheap good version right???
"I did this on a budget" Me: oh cool, because I was looking for a way to do a decent Vader costume for like a hundred bucks or so, maybe this will help me find- "I started with a $650 costume" ....nope
People build $8000 vaders easy. This is incredibly cheap when you consider cost vs final result. It is still expensive for sure but perspective is important
Times have changed since covid. Prices seem to be going up, but keep your eye on the used market. Also, rubies tends to have decent sales in the months leading up to halloween.
This is as beefed up as I could get him in the standard size costume. But, you go bigger if you choose the XL version. My display area didn't allow for the extra height, and thus...
