Yeah I feel that. I'm currently doing work on my v.3 helmet and I'm working with 5 full rolls of neopixel strips and it's proving to be quite difficult.
That helmet looks so good that if I saw you walking the streets with it on, I would think you're actually Marshmello!! Do you realize that you made yourself the real deal?
After applying a coat of primer I sprayed on about two or three layers of white then lightly wet sanded the surface with 1000 grit sand paper. After that I sprayed the helmet with about three heavy layers of clear coat and then lightly wet sanded it with 1000-2000-3000 grit sandpaper until it was relatively shiny and smooth. After that I cut down a hardhat and mounted it on the inside with some two part epoxy. The final step was taking a sheet of tinted PETG plastic and gluing it on the inside behind the eyes and mouth.
