As someone who studied construction engineering, it’s interesting to me because you get to apply several areas of knowledge (reinforced concrete design, foundation design, CONSTRUCTION PLANNING, designing for build-ability, cost estimating, concrete placement/form work, etc.) on a small scale that you are in complete control of. It’s good practice for understanding the construction process and you won’t get shit on if you fuck up. I hope lots of students are getting to do this sort of thing in school.

People have hobbies, this is even better than video games because you learn a real skill doing that
