Wooow, congratulations on this step. Building takes a lot of sacrifice but the results will be worth it. There is a lot of things to learn a long the way too to avoid some mistakes that can be costly.

I have never seen anyone cut lumber like that . Looks like it works though . Are Kenya's dollars the same as US dollars . I saw a story about a train that had a large amount of gold that just disappeared and no one has found it to this day in Kenya . You have a blessed one my friend .

Thank you, faith. The contractors we hired were close by the project, but you can get someone from the timber yards near your project. They do have contacts of the machinery or operators nearby for a quick, great job.Hope this helps.

We used the machine cut bulding stones, offcourse after foundation, I guess the prices vary from where you will purchase from and where your project is located.They go from as low as 27 ksh to 85 ksh per stone depending on quality 😉

So I can't quote yet..., The only specifics so far are like materials bought so far timber, feature boards, roofing materials, eg nails, wood, sheets, primers, labour costs, etc ...the construction materials prices are similarly priced in kenyan companies and on public domain with only a few differences with companies choosen so it depends with taste and preferences when you get down to construction.
