Don’t feel bad for crying over trees. I did 2 years ago, when our new neighbors moved in, and chopped down half of our trees, that were on OUR property. Not even theirs. It genuinely devastated me, it provided so much shade to our yard and house. I cried for days. lol we have lived here for 10 years now, and that was the first time we’ve ever dealt with any neighbor drama. It was awful.
True that ! I lived in the middle east for a while, so self-grown trees aren't the easiest to come by. Just before we moved in to our place, they had chopped down two trees which had taken a decade to grow by the previous owners to provide such excellent shade. We asked why did the management commit such a terrible thing and they just shrugged it of and said that it is just "standard procedure". What's sad is that you can still see them on google maps as it hasn't been updated yet.
Anytime I build on that lot or the one next to it - I include a back gate and lock for "household only" it makes accessing the playground so much easieer.
I live in the Central Florida - UCF area and I was half way through this stream yesterday when I left the house for errands and I drove right by a blue suburban with a separate garage just like this one! 😂😂😂 Crazy! Building was always my weakest skill in Sims, but I've been watching these videos and gained some knowledge and skill without even trying. Thanks for making building way more fun and interesting for me!
My own diy legacy challenge is rainbow themed where I'm naming and decorating my sims's children in colour order of the rainbow, with the heirs being the first born to continue the colours in sequence. So you could also just do it in that way. To have all the kids in colour and age order. But I think in this case random would be more fun!
Replace your tree with a new one, when we moved to our land we cleared it and out our house here we asked them to leave some trees but they took them down! I planted several different types of fruit trees and love them
I'm doing a not so Berry/ legacy challenge originally it was a packs legacy challenge where I play with all of the packs but I wound up color coding my sims so I knew what sims I was doing 😂
A focus is not an exclusion--I think it's cool that you picked one flag to build. That gives you more Pride flag inspo for the future if you want to build more. And writers, artists, and etc. have first drafts--why shouldn't you? : p If it would be fun for you guys, I think we'd love to see you plant (ideally native) storm-resistant baby trees and maybe even landscape. I live in FL too, and my garden brings me joy. You have a ton of landscaping experience in the Sims which I'm sure would translate to rl! 🌴
Could you please update the Not so Berry challenge for newer packs? Or change some of the generations description bc why does plum gen dream of becoming a professional dancer when we have no dancer career/they have to join the entertainer career. Or how Rose gen apparently has "a hard time commiting to relationships" but at the same time has the aspiration of having multiple partners at the same time
She’s mentioned a few times that she doesn’t intend to change the not so berry challenge. As a reward from the May fundraiser she said she will be making a new challenge but she’s waiting until the new pack comes out :)
