This was soo very satisfying to watch! And it made me miss having a stationary pc around (Am using a laptop that is quite good for the games I game but there are moments I miss stationary pc's) And as I've watched your first build I must write, that you seemed a lot surer with what you where doing now within the build. I love this build!!! I just got my first pc a month ago and did an SSD upgrade , but i almost broke it. You have to leave the screw that is near that pcie slot and then screw the ssd down using an extra m2 screw. Otherwise as you can see in your video, the SSD is bending down towards the screw since it’s not level.

At 4:58 make sure you use the standoff for the ssd, idk if its just the vid but it looks bent.

Remember that that M.2 slot is only PCIe Gen 3.0!...If you in the future pretend to put a faster one, PCe Gen 4 put on the slot on top of the gpu slot.

Whoooooa!!! The PC is looking amazing! I really love the cooling unit the most, since I've always seen ones that play gifs and animations, but never understood how it actually works or how you get it to work! I'm sure you're going to have no issues selling off all your old parts, and it'll give you some nice cash to save aside for something else you'd want! How's your new PC compared to the old one? I remembered you mentioning in the video you got a part to help your PC boot-up faster, so I was pretty curious about the significant differences between your old PC and your new one.

I noticed or perhaps I'm wrong you didn't install the m.2 standoff? And that the m.2 ssd is installed in the wrong slot. It should be right under the CPU part. Or maybe I'm wrong. Pretty build tho.

You should put the m.2 on the First Slot because that is the fastest you can get. If you put it on the second Slot ist dont run over The CPU Directly. It Runs over the Mainboard Chip and then to the CPU. If you put ist on the First slot it Runs directly over the CPU and is much Faster.

I would recommend getting an Asus white Strix 3080 because it would look really good in your white build as well as giving much better GPU performance ( only if you need or want better graphics)

watching you do the peel gave me a heart attack LOL. I saw a video where some guy did a peel on a new build while it was on and it created enough ESD and fried the RGB and could have taken the system out

I noticed you used the Bottom M.2 slot did you do that on purpose ? in the the future it would be god to take advantage of your top M.2 slot, that supports PCIe Gen4 x4 , so if you can get the 980 pro that will give you - Read 7000MB/s Write 5100MB/s speeds Your bottom M.2 slot only supports PCIe Gen3 x4 which is what the 970 Evo plus is . sorry if you knew all this already :) Awsome build aswell :)

Aw man its really an amazing build (literally my dream pc as well) But the Water cooling lining is messed up :( It's kind of titled a little bit the tubes cover up some of the screen if it could be fixed that'll be so satisfying! But after all a really good build! 🌼

If there's only one M.2 ssd in use it should be installed to the slot that is nearer the cpu. M.2 slot that is below the PCie connectors is secondary and a bit slower.

Nice video but you could’ve saved pretty much all the money you spent on windows. You could’ve downloaded windows on a thumb drive and boughten a activation card for less than $15. Great video overall tho

I like white PC more than clack ones. Reason RGB looks so much better in white cases, the colors gets reflected so nice and are much more saturated.

4:56 if you didn't use hdd before, the difference between sata ssd and m.2 ssd's boot time is literally 1 second..

Awesome build, only word of advice is with the ssd install you should've installed it in the upper slot, and not the lower slot and you forgot the m.2 standoff. Its currently being bent and that could damage it

I am about to install a new SSD and I just realized my mobo has 2 m.2 slots as well. One is with a heatsink and one without. I bought an SSD with a heatsink so I was worried that I had to put it on the top m.2 slot which has the built-in mobo heatsink. I asked my friend who is a computer tech and he said that it doesn't really matter where you place your SSD.

@@sapph3904 The top slot has a reserved PCIe x4 connection with the CPU, while the second one would be linked to the chipset and using the PCIe x4 connection that the chipset uses to communicate with the CPU. The top slot if slightly faster, but if you cannot use it, it is not the end of the world.

You didnt put ur ssd in the right m.2 slot rn its in the PCIe gen 3 not the PCIe gen 4, since ur ssd is gen 4 it would be better to have it in the Gen 4 PCIe slot
