If ur broke get a budget pre built keyboard and then mod it :) and if it is soldered use a syringe filled with lubricant to mod jt

@@delicious3201 but then again the Suit and the Jelly were also around $400 (or more for the jelly) on groupbuy depending on config and they are highly lauded by the community. Suits are still sold to this day at around 800$ each. Same with the Vega. On the aftermarket, still sells for around $400 but its literally worse then a qk in terms of sound unless you put way more foam then is necessary in a qk65. Pretty much all the windx boards also need a similar level of foam to sound good, but they still sell are "well respected" by the community. Don't even get me started on the bear65v2, that thing literally sounds worse then the qk does with no foam in both and people in the comments of some reviews/sound tests still said stuff about how "clean" they think the sound is. In reality, the community is hypocritical as fuck. The qk is legitimately a good board, even if qwertykeys sold it for $300. But it would receive a hell of a lot more praise and a hell of a lot more community support from the "true enthusiasts" if qwertykeys made some bullshit claim about how they "hate foam" or something like that and just sold the board without anything else (literally what the bear65v2 creator did). Thats what makes me laugh so much. That a qk is literally a different layout bear65v2 with more options given at like half the price but the same people who "love" the sound of the bear65v2 also "hate" the sound of the qk65, with or without foam.

Building it won't be a problem, but getting the keyboard is really hard since it sold out within minutes when the sale opened xd. Another option is to get it from the aftermarket, but the price is definitely higher

Yeah, there’s an unlimited group buy happening very soon. It would take 4-8 to ship though because instead of instock theyre making it (basically what a gb is)

@Mihir💙 $200 for a total build isnt bad since they last longer and feel much better compared to laptop keyboards and membrane. Its an investment just to have comfortability when typing and something special because this board is something you made and there is no other board like it.

true. sounds a lot better without the silicone but i kept all foams inside. the silicone might help if ure bringing it to an office tho to keep the volume a little low for an office environment
