Why use suspend for some queries and not for the first one? Sorry i am just trying to get a hold of things

Don't worry, I am glad that you asked! So the getAllNotes is not a suspend function because it returns a Flow of notes. This Flow will emit values whenever the data changes, as opposed to suspend functions that return only a single value like getNoteById. But if for example you want to observe in real-time the changes of a note you can remove the suspend from the getNoteById and return a Flow. The insert, delete, and update are suspend because these operations should not block the main thread.
