I have been streaming for years now, and finding out how to do all this on my own was a nightmare. I game on X-Box but my setup is very similar to this one with a few minor changes. I've actualy built a mini streaming setup like this, replicating my main setup, love streaming on a macbook air M2 its been great, best of all barely any equipment compared to what im used to, even more streamlined i used the facetime cam 😂 (with some software tweaks) , great guide easy to understand 👌🏼

Why is it advantageous to have game audio & mic audio as one audio input? I enjoy having control over each one independently and I can add filters to the mic (A50). Thanks for the help. My HD60 X & chat link pro come-in today! STOKED!

@@MidnightMan Makes sense! I have a ridiculously complicated setup. I’m pretty sure it is the only one like it in the world. Wiimote & Nunchuk on PS4, 55” LED TV on the wall, my butt on the couch, a 36” swiveling piece of PVC pipe jutting out from the wall behind me, a camera mounted on the top of that pipe pointing down, paracord hangs my WiiS4 Controller from this pipe, then I have A50s and a M3 MBP, to boot! Hahaha! Upgrading from AVermedia to the cat. My next upgrade needs to be an external monitor of some kind. The MBP is off to the side so I can’t see comments pop up. The very next upgrade will be some form of Stream Deck. I am highly caffeinated and wow what just happened?! Hahaha! Dude I mean it when I say thank you. I fist watched your videos years ago and this position was a fantasy. I started with a PS4 Camera pointed at my hands on my weird controller. I’m not someone who gets brand new MacBooks! 😂 That kickstarted things, combined with my GF’s encouragement, understanding, and assistance. Let’s face it, you pretty much have the best videos for someone with my exact setup…well, except for, you know, my WiiS4 controller, Controella 😂🤣 Cheers, MM 😊

if you wanted too do a single monitor setup just use a ultra wide that has a kvm switch or pip and pbp aka picture in picture or picture by picture mode

MAAAN!!! Ive been searching for a video like this for the past couple days. Everyone uses PC. Im running damn near have the exact setup. I am having trouble capturing audio when streaming. Question though....does this setup allow you to talk with your teammates in warzone while capturing audio for stream? Will the stream be able to hear everyone in my game chat? Also, is it necessary to have two mics in order to communicate with my game chat and stream chat or can I get away with using one mic? Definitely subscribed as soon as I came across your video. The line out option is probably a fake. I tested it on Arctis Pro Wireless and when I turn on the headphones, the option stops working. I thought it was probably because I didn't have nova headphones. So I wrote to the manufacturer and he confirmed that there is no set that will simultaneously support line out from the deck and headphones in the wireless mode. Please explain to me how you achieved this effect.

Hi! I had the same issue. Make sure you have the elgato capture utility downloaded. Open that, have the hd60x selected then go down to where it says “input edid mode” and make sure “display” is selected

Question, if you want to use a seperate Mic for better quality voice over of your streaming, can you still use your headset mic so people in the chat can hear me? Or would stream labs record both the game chat (me included) and the audio from my stand alone mic?

You really don't need all of this to build a start up to get people following I would def say just get you a Ps5 cam, and your set to go for the beginning time so you can build a reliable base :)
