@@vinay_dias Thanks for the kind words! He does-- just starting out, but he is planning more videos on this channel soon! www.youtube.com/@DigitalSageVideo
I would definitely change the spacing to be consistent throughout the design, especially on the mobile version. I don't want to have to scroll too much and some of the spacing seems too much-arbitrary in fact. Nice job. I too was thinking from the beginning just to do the entire thing in grid, including the nav, which you did end up changing. I really was thinking that I have grid down for this kind of design, but with all that math-I want to think there is an easier way. But once you have the system in place, you don't have to reinvent the wheel all over again. Let's see if we can simplify those grid templates. Not sure it can be done, but we must always try.
This is a good project. If you recorded this in one go, then you have strong mind. Although there may be other ways to approach building this project, you've made troubleshooting to solve problems easy to follow. It would have been even better if you had included the links to the websites that you used in the tutorial. Do you also build sites with Reactjs though? Thank you for this good job.
thanks for watching! I'll try to be better about including the links-- which one were you looking for? and I don't use React, sorry! Maybe in the future!
1:06:47 when the code become more complex to understand, like in this case, there is a good approach to make it easier to understand as Kevin Powel said in the CSS Days, you can use the CSS variables, for example --columns-num: 3, --gap: 20, and use it, and if someone need to change it, it's very easy to change the value of the variables which already has a understanding names.
you are a blessing........thank you, I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hate to say it.,...but after 49 minutes into this, it got super super confusing. i did not like how you started to build this. you added media queries in the middle of the build. i thought you would do this at the very end. after you did all the general styling. also the entire build is just messy and confusing. i was into it until you restructured the media queries as well as the div you changed up. that was very very *very* confusing. i had to just give up on this. too messy and all over the place.
