Nice job Morgan. Thanks for going into the weeds on the technical details. Still hoping you will run through a tube fitting scenario at some point.

for real that's what I struggle with the most, I always end up modifying my notches with a grinder for an extra 20min

Can you make a video on how you make the nut plate and how you set it up for the panels?

Hey Morgan! I will add to other requests here. PLEASE post up a video or link page for some of the products/ components you use. Specifically things like nut plates, panel tabs (dzus) the Jag10 abrasives, that wax used for “fluff and buff” panel work… airsaw blades ( 10tpi? 14tpi?)… You really have great efficiency and techniques and I would love to incorporate those “best practices” into my own humble build project. Thanks as always for these videos and the excruciating level of detail you provide. :)

I loved watching this! If you could do a whole video of how a properly built cage should look like that would be awesome! I’ve watched a few fab videos but I would like to hear from a true fabricator such as yourself. Like “Nodes” “triangulation” “dead tubes” that would be great!

I like your plate and rivet style but consider tabs and bolts on the inner side instead of welding it will be just a lot easier on the final fit and on final assembly consider using a 3m adhesive it will keep out the rattles and squeaks. Just a thought from a OG.

Nexgen Offroad, Kartek and TMR Customs all sell variants of them.

I would search online. You can get them in bulk from several places. The markup from the vendors is considerable

How well do those rivets hold up on those cab supports vs using maybe a rivnut or even welding in a nut plate? Edit…. Right as I sent this you explained it lol
