You can use that repair hammer on your boat, too. Looks like your boat is half-health. If enemies destroy the boat you lose everything in its storage as well as the boat.
Could you build your "tower" as an upside down pyramid? Based on how strong the pillars are it seems possible. Plus you might want more room to build workshops, farm plots, etc....
I love you so much draegast been watching you for a long time now and you are the sole reason I want to visit canada someday bcs you guys are just too fricking nice, hope you are doing well
Small little tip. You can place pillars in all the corners and delete the middle one. If I'm correct after building the floor you can delete it anyway. My advice would be put down the extra walls wen going up. Because they will come to your island with crossbows and guns. And they will break your stuff. 😉
Hi Drae, just started plaing this game , because i saw you plaing it, love your content mate. PS , you can pack benches and stuff with the packing box, so you dont need to destroy it
You can make a box that helps you pick up placed items back into your inventory. Breaking things returns a portion 50% of the resources. Trees will respawn after a few days but you can also gather branches daily around the area where the trees were as well as some strawberries and mushrooms. A planter box is what you need for growing seeds. I am not entirely sure, but I believe the enemies that attack are level locked to your research bench. As you increase its level, so does the enemy type. I would consider looking into replacing your existing walls and floors with metal before going too far into the research. Also, the speedboat will get up to almost 200. Even the sailboat can hit the 140's. You have the slowest of all boats my man. This game is fun but needs to have some adjustments to late game items. The big .50 cal. gun you can get late game is incredibly inaccurate and wastes bullets. The npc's require 3 -4 shots to kill and the cost of making bullets its extreme. When it takes 50 shots to kill a single enemy because your gun is sending bullets everywhere else BUT where you are aiming, then its a problem. It is easier to swim under them and stab them to death, than waste bullets. That is assuming they come in from that direction. There is also the issue that even if you kill EVERY npc on EVERY island, they still somehow come swimming in to attack randomly. It would be nice if the attacks had a curve in the cycle to make it feel more natural. example: Early game they send easy, Mid gets harder, by later game you are getting hit by their best and you are slowly taking out their bases dwindling their numbers resulting in the attacks becoming less frequent on your base until they stop all together. Instead you get relentless attacks making you repair and replace walls with resources that are limited. Speaking of resources, there are some that are limited, and some that are regenerated constantly. Scrap metal while plentiful does not regen. Glass, weapons, weapon parts, armor, clothes, treasure, components, and rubber also do not regen. Again they are plentiful but when they are gone, they are gone. Trees, ore nodes, fish, and food spots all regen.
You should build out on the 2nd floor. If you can. I wonder if you can put pillars in the corner and go out from there. It could multiply your available space. Which... i know you will need.
I can't recall if I commented on your video about wood and scrap metal storage but there's shelves and boxes specifically for wood and scrap. So you can save space for other things in your chests
“The Adventures of former Monk Notavalidnam, pt 2. Society hasn’t totally collapsed in spite of the massive flooding. There are small floating shops were people can trade, though Notavalidnam finds usual stock sparse. The sea mutants popping up could be another layer to the test… He’s still worried about their rapid appearance.*
Don’t look on land look underwater there are breakable wood things that give you a good amount of wood the mutant islands have crates and such that you can also brake for wood
Episode 1: "Day 1" Okay, nice, I'll be able to tell what episode it is right off the bat so I don't worry about missing one. Episode 2: "Building a..." Crap. Never mind...
