A man's best friend. We love watching your builds but I think we like watching your relationship with Goji more. Can't wait till you get 1 million views 🎉
Irish coffee (in a glass as well) with mince pies and extra cream. That really is enjoying the outdoors as opposed to surviving. Awesome! Watching from England.
Thank you very much.he is still very young and full of energy. It's the first axe/hatchet I got when I was about 21 it's god a lot of miles on it 🤣 🇩🇪🇮🇪👍
Howdy Paddy! So nice to see a well-trained dog! People here treat their dogs like a child....spoiling them ROTTEN, and basing the adult’s whole life around the pet’s projected “wants and desires”. We trained our dog like u have. The build is excellent, too! LouiseAustralia 🦘
Thanks Louise .he's gotta be trained up here if he wasn't I'd lose him chasing a sheep or deer or something else I do believe a well trained dog will be happier in the long run🦘🍀
@@raymccaffrey1 Toolstation: Therogrip Gloves, they are what I use for outdoor work - but they are gright green and wont look very 'bushcraft'. Knee pads are expensive Stanley Fatmax but I bet you could make knee pads from duct taped carpet underlay and some bungee cord with soft shackle knot
Hello. Recently, while waiting for my daughter at school, I met a friend of mine who told me that he had found a nice dugout in the Wicklow Mountains. At first, I wasn't very interested in it, but when he showed me its photos, I was impressed. I run a RU-vid channel called Leśny człowiek(Forest Man). I came across your channel while watching bushcraft videos and I had a good feeling that this dugout in the photos was your work, I'm really impressed with the work and heart you put in!!!😊 I'm planning to go there for a night or two and I hope you don't mind, I will leave everything as I find it there. The video from my stay will definitely appear on my channel, with the recommendation of your channel as well 🤝 Greetings from County Kildare and I wish you success 👍
Thank Pal nice to meet a fellow bushcrafter ..most or my work I take apart tidy up a recycle materials so you'd be lucky if it's still there . you might find one of my newer ones.... good luck 👍
First video of yours I’ve come across, love the bushcraft stuff. I’ve always lived in a city but would love to be able to do this stuff and live off grid. I’ll keep watching the videos and maybe one day I can finally put some of this knowledge to use. Thanks for posting. Stay safe out there.
Goji jumping through at the end was hilarious - absolutely great content mate. More captions would be great if possible, similar to Primitive Technology explaining what you're doing and why.
A friend and I had come across a old brick forge in the deep woods in Canada where he lives how it got there we found out that it was part of a loging camp and it shut down around 1898 and we looked around and found some other things like axe heads a old saws any how he used the old forge to cook and heat a small cabin we built he still uses it 20 years later from time to time I like how you made the brick USA
LOL!! Love it! Goji has really grown but he still needs to learn how to read. :) :) ... I like the bottle window idea...I've found out they work very well as tail light covers on cars as well, ... a quick, cheap solution to a normally costly repair. :) :) .... I always enjoy your videos, thanks. :)
🤣🤣 he must have went through his door 20 times of course when the camera is on he chooses the window 🤷🏼♂️. You wouldn't get away with using plastic bottle for car repairs in Ireland there pretty strict
I had a dog who would always take the color of a treat that I told him to get... example... I'd lay our four M&Ms and tell him the colors of each one as I laid them in front of him... Then I would say, ok, get the blue one, or red one and he would get the exact color I asked for. this worked for any color wrapped treat as well... The only time in his life he grabbed the wrong one, was when my brother was trying to catch it on video... :) But then immediately and there after forever, he always got it right again....Something about video cameras that interfere with doggies brain waves. :) :)
He was a shepherd/wolf mix.. Thor, the most brilliant dog I ever had... I could think something and he'd do it... he knew if I simply raised one eyebrow that he'd better stop watching me eat. :) he would look away, but then his ear would turn to "watch" me. :) ... one day, I looked for him in the yard and found him flying a kite that someone had lost and it had ended up in my yard... He had the stick in his mouth and was running back and forth letting the kite fly up in the air behind him... he knew how to entertain himself. :) ... ok, sorry... too much dog stories... back to the bushcraft LOL. I really do enjoy your work and when I can force myself to take time, I want to try some of those project for myself. :) Thanks for all the inspirations. :)
Awesome shelter one rhing i would do is build the fireplace higher above the roofline so not to catch ot on fire, just how actual houses are but other than that i love it
It's remarkable to see how the collective consciousness of humanity is naturally being very attracted to bushcraft & nature. Definitely what people are wanting more of, naturally wanting to reconnect to nature as this is how we free ourselves from this slave system.
I have to tell you paddy me boy, that you are beyond the shadow of a trout a woodland artist, i just found your channel & as it's raining outside, i have been binge watching your videos, wonderful to behold, & let's not leave out your sidekick as he, she? Adds greatly to the fun. Thankyou both very much & please have a merry christmas & a grande new year. Bye now, ric, ontario canada.
Where is the dogs water bowl? What did he have to eat? Best friend should always be served first. Beautiful dog, best companion. Nice build. Beautiful location.
Beautifully done!! Love that last shot😂 One questions tho, how do you prepare for such a project? Do you have something like a "backpack" video. Tools you use etc...
Yes most of the land in this area is blanket peat ..clay is rare and a good walk away . that's why I use clay we're the main heat would be and peat at the top half ... thanks for watching 👍🇺🇸🇮🇪
