Thank You for this video!, I just saw it for the first time. I need to change my Mega tree layout after 13 years. I was looking at making a pixel tree ,but I saw a spiral tree on a home video of a spiral tree similar to yours and love it. I needed to see how this was created and your video was the answer! I appreciate your heavy duty tethering to anchor it as well! Rather than jump into pixels and spend tons of money on pixels , this is great. Yes I don't get the marquees and colors but you do get similar effects simply by the spiral effect! Well done sir!
Awesome looking tree. The incandescents are risky for burning out after ll of the work you have done. I made the switch to all led 2 years ago and love them.
Nice Job, I have to get busy on mine for this years display. 16 channels, double strings works out real well. I wonder how one with 16 single strings would look like?
Great Tree Sparky, I just wanted to be sure I understood correctly. Are you using 8 sets of two wires for a total of 16 channels or is it 16 sets of two for 32 channels? Looks really good but I can't count the individual sections 8x2 or 16x2 that is the question?? Thanks again for sharing this video.
Look up "Light O Rama". It's a software that you install into your computer and and you can program your light to dance to your favorite Christmas songs. Along with the software, you need to purchase controllers that goes between your lights and the computer.
