I think the platform /door issue could also have been fixed by placing a “step” on the outside using a small platform on the outside foundation so the height on both sides of the door is the same. So excited for platforms and lilsimsie platform builds!

I do not know why but I figured that the split leveling could make a good family home, so I figured this would be good for the Parenthood world or The Island Paradise world.... um Sulani?

This also makes me REALLY want to include a loft space area. I have never made one before but it has been a building dream to create a loft space in The Sims 4. I figured it could be easier because you would create a second story, add a ladder going up, and then knock out half the flooring for the second floor and add a railing. Maybe with split leveling, you can try raising the platform to create a loft space and do not even have to worry about taking out the section of flooring. I guess the issue with this comes the height limit.

I've heard that some houses in real life were built with a bunch of different split levels so if someone robbed you, they'd trip everywhere and make a bunch of noise. Not sure if that's true or not but it's a neat idea anyways

I like split level but I think we've just forgotten. I'd rank 1. moveobjects 2. Debug/hidden objects 3. Windows 4. Ladders and then platforms maybe. Then roofing (glass). Just in order of % of builds I use them.
