For anyone else watching this: Please always use welding goggles or a shield. Using a welder without that protection is extremely dangerous and very bad for your eyesight.

Why don't you weld the bottom in position instead of an overhead and downhill welds? Seems like there would be less start and stops.

I think some stitch welds would’ve been ok, that’s so much wire and gas for one project.

Jack, you're the bomb! When I saw you squishing your eyes shut, I thought you might be in Pakistan or Ceylon; can't afford a welding helmet, lol. Super sweet job. Is that Lincoln dual voltage? I'm looking for one.
