Building A Stomp Box

Stuffing the box with rags or foam will give a less tappy, bassier tone.

I tried making something similar, but produces a lot of static noise. How can I fix this issue? Great video, thanks

Would going extra and putting a tone pot into this allow to shape the sound a little or are the peiezos not dynamic enough to warrent it
