Currently turning my NA Outback into a Touring Wagon...type...thing. Not nearly as complicated as RS to 22B tho. It's more like making an RS a WRX.

Do you think converting a 5x100 Forester STI over to 5x114 would be reasonably straightforward? Getting driveshafts and CV joints for it, here in U.K. is nigh on impossible, later 5x114 are readily available..

I'm thinking of buying a used 2014 that has stock rims, blacked out tail lights, bone stock interior, tinted windows, Perrin brand strut bar, IAG aos mounted in the same place you put yours, Cobb intake, Perrin front mounted intercooler but no access port. They want 16k in price and it has just under 70k miles. Would appreciate anyones advice to If this is a good deal or not. The biggest thing that worries me is the engine mods without an access port and that the previous owner ran into problems and flashed the ECU to stock and it's a sitting grenade at this point.

Man, I miss my old dumpy 95 2.2 Impreza L coupe. It was red with black accents, and I had swapped the headlights, grille, and hood with like 99 facelift stuff. The hood was a black scooped & vented one off an outback sport. Believe it or not I was even able to find junkyard replacement glass foglights for the early year bumper I had. That thing was a dog but she was a good egg too, never let me down. I sold it because of rust/rot but it still lives in one of the towns nearby. It went to a body shop guy originally, and I think he sold it to another car builder. Dunno how they treat it on the regular but it sounds like it went on to have a good life. I've seen it driving around in different states of being, but I wanna see that exact car I used to own just fully done up and built when I go to one of the local car shows. That would be so cool. Random fun memory I just had. I took some of those Impreza fender turn indicators and put em on my 97 Accord. It was way cheaper than buying the JDM ones on eBay, aka they were free instead of like 120 bucks for the legit JDM Accord ones. I feel like it's universally understood that anything that fits in your pocket without looking obvious is fair game at the junkyard. Definitely keep the compass. I haven't seen one of those in a hot minute, I remember them looking a bit different. Maybe there were different versions?

You should actually do the clutch start in second gear.

Do you have the 06 sti front sub frame? If not youll need somekind of turbo subframe for the uppipe to clear. Also depending on what year the subframe is will determine which style steering rack youll use.

Thank! You! TANNER! I have an 08 hatch that I want to convert and I needed a nuild sheet to help. Folks always discourage from building a non turbo Subaru to one and that's why many seem to stay away from the community.

My favorite car of all time.

Don’t need the column. Just need the immo unit keys key switch with antenna And the ecm. I took the ignition switch off an 06 sti column and it mounted to my 85 rx turbo manual rack with no modification. Besides the making the bolts removable.

this is giving me flashbacks to my old 2000 2.5rs , poor thing had all the miles , nearly killed me from a loose wheel nearly falling off on the highway , and then proceeded to crack every Ringland known to Subaru kind lol. ended up selling it to a Honda tech down in Seattle who supposedly did an sti swap on it.
