Yeah I don't like that. It makes it even harder to get used to normal swing. If we're trying to adapt to the new features, physics and gamemodes... that doesn't help at all.
24:03 this part is so funny to me because i use the back on track icon with purple primary so Tride basically just built my icon (also i'm seeing a good amount of purple+yellow in general, which is my icon colour scheme)
swing parts are fun to build but so divisive - my first 2.2 level had a swing part with click indicators + orbs (because thats the type of gameplay i like) and some people really liked it, saying it was so much better when swing parts are not just replaced ship parts, but other people really did not like the click indicators. its hard to build a swing that caters to everyone :p
used to play GD a lotttt back in 2014-2016, and recently got back into it . coming back to it and seeing how huge the youtube community has gotten makes me so happy . also yr videos are great
I saw the background design, and noticed that it was 0.5x speed portal, and i thought it would be really cool if it was different speeds, and then when you run into them, it would change to that speed.
I think adding movement to the wave part would make it look really epic! If you have the arrow structures move up to their place or just have them keep moving up, the part would look more natural
There's an option in the settings where you can preload the level before playtesting, and you'd have to hit the playtest button for a second time to play, preventing lag. Hope this helps :3
I think the wave transition should change the area triggers to a area move triggers going up with easing so the wave portal looks like it goes up into you but it’s hitboxes are still below you, and the wave part will have more goof in it.

You should make the ground spikes pulse the same pulse as the monsters in it. You should also disable the particles of the slow speed portal right before the drop so the particles dont get in the way of the drop. You ether disable the particles with the no particles, or no effects button. The levels looking good so far!
Once again suggesting that you should make the minimum opacity of the white spikes around the dash orb more than 0 so that it's sightreadable. Would be a very nice change :)
Kind of random but I think it would be cool if some of the structures had Back In movements going up or down when they reach the left side of the screen
