Hey everyone! I've added the Tree Frog Oasis to the Steam Workshop here so you can grab it for your zoo! steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2923290070
My one consultant contribution so far was not to go with the pebble path because it's hard to push a stroller on. 😜 This was ALL YOU and it turned out great! So in the future I WILL take credit for everything because I totally want to be associated with this.
Haha I believe you also advised me to add a South American area. I will ignore the fact the zoo already had one 😆 No seriously I will have many more questions coming soon! The entrance to a zoo is the easy bit, once you look at the rest of the enormous map, that is when the trouble begins!
Recently discovered your channel and have been thoroughly enjoying your builds. You have a lovely eye for detail and asset placement resulting in the most gorgeous builds. Heavily invested in this series and excited to see where this goes. All the best to you.
Same here. Almost accidentally watched ur video but I love the amount of detail u put in ur builds. Subscribed and I hope to see more of ur builds in the future 👍🏻
The first episode of this series popped up on my recommended and I'm happy I came across it. The feel of these videos bring me back to earlier youtube playthroughs. I am only disappointed I won't get the instant gratification to see the final result of this complete build. I can't wait for the next episodes!!
I really love this slow build technique. It allows me to see the thought process you had while building, and lets me see how professional builders actually build and the techniques used. You’ve defiantly won yourself a subscriber.
These builds are incredible to look at. Just a small note on the foliage: it's actually pretty dry in San Bernardino. It's almost always in a drought. A lot of the native plants here are drought resistant plants like succulents, sage or plants with skinny or small leaves in order to prevent evaporation in the hot sun. It's not criticism on the build though! just extra information
Thanks for the info Sewerraccoon! I'm already regretting the name of the zoo tbh, I just liked the name and wanted to set it in SoCal! I'm going to be adding sprinklers all over the zoo soon to make it a bit more realistic!
Your builds are so cool!! I could never do this in franchise, Let alone sandbox. Despite all my hours on Planet Zoo i've never made anything so detailed and just... great as this.
Always love your zoos. You have so many original ideas. The trick with the plaster and the plants and then applying them to the rocks makes them look more natural. Really looking forward to seeing the rest of this zoo.
Thanks for putting so much effort into the exhibits - I really like how this one turned out. And I have to remember that idea to have 3D letters in the same color as the background, that looks great!
Just found your channel today, holy cow you are amazing at building these habitats and exhibits. Love that you give your builds background to it and take such good care of what you want your vision to be. I will definitely be going back to watch previous play throughs and Jurassic World play throughs as well!
A tip for you mate that will save loads of time over many hours - Spacebar turns on/off angle snap. Love your videos man. Again; my favorite builder to date.
You have a really soothing and unique way of making these videos. You show what you’re doing in a very cozy yet entertaining and clear way. Please continue sharing your work:)
I am amazed how you can create these builds! Your video just got recommended on my feed and now im subscribing cause this is really interesting to see and i dont even play this game
I absolutely love this! I enjoy playing around with the exhibits and I hope to see more variety in future packs. The pool looks lovely and I'm absolutely stealing that design for my next zoo entrance :)
Oh this looks gorgeous! Always up for getting some inspiration on how to disguise the exhibit boxes. I also love the pool idea. Turned out really nice!
Thanks, I was crying and really fed up but I am happy I found your channel, I love this new style of video and I am excited to keep up with your new zoo :) Yay zoo! Yay animals! Yay architecture! A very intelligent and soft, interesting vibe
I actually have a zoo I've been working on that uses the bitmap terrain of my relative area.. there is a state park in the distance I like and I thought it would be fun to make a rescue zoo using the natural terrain of SoCal.. so I used the state park's terrain.. Now watching this series I can get inspired for the proper look of the builds in that zoo and I'm excited to keep working on it now. (:
Awesome! I wanted to use a height map for this zoo but I made it a week before 12.3 came out and there was a bug where the North American map magiced into the European map if you used a height map so I had to do without!
Loved the video just found your channel and have started binge watching the tekton soo builds and it’s amazing, hopeful I can build as good as you soon ❤
Hello, brand new watcher as of today. I enjoyed your "slow build," I love modern style, and I love animals and have been looking for opportunities to get back into Planet Zoo. I really look forward to seeing where your modern zoo goes in the future! This tree frog oasis was super cute
Glad I found your channel. I'm a fan of Planet Zoo, but always have trouble really getting something nice going. I watched the start of this series and have really enjoyed it so far. You have a new sub in me.
I just found your channel and I absolutely love it already! Great video lengts, good editing, beautiful builds, good commentary. As a zookeeper I LOVE the exhibits you build! Keep it up :)
I just watched the first part also and I love the videos so far! Planet Zoo is one of my favorite games, and I wish I could build half as good as you! Keep it up
Thank you! Honestly I learned everything from watching other people. I would also recommend picking a real zoo or even just a habitat in a real zoo and trying to recreate it. You learn so much when you have to try and get something perfect!
Thanks! I actually tried the sign in a froggy green but as the letters are plastic it looked really cheap. I matched the colour to the concrete to give the impression of a more realistic sign.
Holy…. that looks amazing. i wish i would be able to do something like that, but i don’t have the patience to place all the little details perfectly 🙈😅
@@ZSHplays i‘ve noticed and am binge watching this series/playlist… 👍🏻😂 it’s awesome and still so calm i don’t get overwhelmed and can relax while watching it! thanks a lot for all the explanations. can’t wait to start a franchise zoo myself, i‘m still stuck in the campaign mode since i’ve heard i should do them first to learn the mechanics of the game 😅
The slow technique build is perfect. I can’t watch the fast ones. Also can you try to equally space the Letters (TreeFrogs) using a building spacer or something? Also the beautiful letters blend in to much to the wall, a different color may be better.
your building style is amazing and the level of detail you go into makes the build look amazing. I am trying to do the level of ur detail on my new zoo and try get same results every build ur doing looks amazing the structure plant work it’s amazing I been building and I cnt seem make it look great but u nail it every time. so like said going use some techniques watch these slower builds and hopefully do it better take time think about what I want and see wat happens loving these slow builds help me out a lot with ideas and how to build better keep up to good work cnt wait till next week
This is an awesome build! I absolutely love the exhibit animals. Would you mind please explaining how you can get things to duplicate in a circle?! I see some people do it and I just don't understand how. Like the way you got the backstage section to come in. Subbed 🎉
Thanks Queencinna! I will do a mini-tutorial on this during the next episode of San Bernardino (starting from episode 5 or 6 I think I do a little Franchise Tips section in the middle of each episode)
I dont even watch zoo videos, but ur videos are so relaxing to watch :D i have no idea about the game, can someone maybe explain me why he needed to build the glasswalls, just to lower them afterwards into the ground?
I just found you and I'm loving the vids. Any tips for building on slopes? I want to do a zoo inspired by one of the two zoos located near me but it is built on a slope with lots of switch backs for wheelchairs and staircases and sloped paths are the bane of my existence in the game.
@@ZSHplays i've seen some fish mods that are based on existing species but all existing species in planet zoo have animations of them on land. which causes the fish to some times hang out and flop around on land ^^'
Hey, thank you for the video, really inspiring. I 'd like to ask how you placed the counters up on the street. i have been really struggling with that. Thank you in advance!
