Honestly your base is outstanding! I like redwoods and treehouses but usually ppl make them look weird... Your's fits in every way... It's a shame we don't have wooden elevators ;) Now you need some bigfoots to guard your base ;)
S+ STILL EXISTS It is now split into 2 mods - ASR and QoL+ ASR has all the building parts (and then some), QoL+ has all the quiet fabricator etc, but most importantly to you, the Gun that lets you pick up building pieces etc Also, you can pipe water up from the lake, put an intake valve in it nearest to you build, and use the water tanks to extend it to where you need Alternatively all tanks now fill passively, even without rain Also theres a command for disabling fog, i cant recall it off top of my head, but youll find it by googling Nice build, this is the first of your videos ive seen, my only critique is you should drink less caffeine :heart🖤
I actually like the fog which is why I don’t remove it. Didn’t know about the s+ split though. We are trying to run this vanilla without any mods though which is why we haven’t added anything besides the Turkey trials and now winter wonderland.
@MysticKorea If you want to keep the vanilla feel but fix some issues try Silent Structures (reduce annoying fabricator etc sounds by 90%) and Greenhouse Glass Fix (can see through it and use as windows). Though I like the windows you've done in your awesome build.
@@MysticKorea Just to expand, as i tried to be brief before ASR has no cheats, just more build pieces/choice S+ does have things could be considered more "cheaty", but of course you can restrict which engrams go in, same way as you can in vanilla, through your ini files To add to what patient zero said, ASR contains 2 new "sets" of glass, one edged with Wood, one with Stone, and all the glass is proper flat glass without corrugation, it also allows one of its parts to be placed as windows in the gaps left by doorways (all 3 doorways), and has the option of one big pane of glass or smaller panes divided by the material (wood or stone) It also allows Pillars to be placed at the various angles to match ramps, rooves and staircases Im not trying to convince you, but i did wnt you to know what its capable of before deciding to not use it Obviously do your own thing :)
Base looks great! The elevator was probably not going all the way up due to the half walls that were underneath. I would try removing them and putting the ceilings back instead of the ramps.
Thanks! I tried. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get the track to either snap or go to the place I wanted with snapping turned off. I think I spent more than 2 hours trying multiple ways 😂
By the way, the elevator just doesn't like pillars. If you remove the outer pillars that are just above the elevator, it should go all the way up. I had a similar issue with my base not too long ago, and removing the pillars fixed the issue for me.
You would like the mod 'GremioLand deco' it has a small all in one fab/smithy that runs on sparkpowder an makes zero noise or Circa's better stations an deco has a fabi that looks like a chalkboard an makes little to zero noise
@@MysticKorea oh I miss s+ as well 😆 but we will find a new one. Also if you want a next lvl looking glass there are 2 mods with some Dwarven Builder ( double door frame an glass wall aka door) an Rustic Build by Klinger has hands down the most beautiful looking greenhouse parts
Omg, tree platforms need that feature that ocean platforms have where you can't pick them up if there are structures snapped to them lol. But yea, what they did to the greenhouse pieces really does suck, adobe and greenhouse together used to be my favourite structures to use. I can't wait for Super Structures (since S+ currently isn't going to be ported over to ASA) to be further along in the development to have all the quality of life stuff back in again, and hopefully they will bring back some nicer greenhouse pieces.
The solution I found is if you damage it slightly, you can’t pick it up. They’ve made some good changes and some meh ones. Can’t wait to play the Turkey event later.
@@MysticKorea Yea, I was thinking that would be a good way of being able to keep from accidentally picking them up. And yea! I just finished breeding up a lovely coloured Thyla last night so I'll have to see how she does against the murder turkeys lol.
lol it’s basically like starting ark fresh, but with some changes. It’s going to take a while to get everything back (maps/mods/etc) but I’m enjoying it.
