Hi Pablo! I’ve known many Pekins to be great moms! Since both breeds are mallard derived, any offspring should be fertile and able to have offspring of their own. I’ve seen some very lovely pictures of Rouen/Pekin crossbred offspring that readers have sent me! Wishing you and your little flock the very best of luck!!
Thank you! Great video! 📚 📖 🤓💜😊 I had started a vintage cookbook collection a couple of years ago. I totally forgot about it. Just got some more over the past week. I had one on my eBay watch list back then I just remembered about, but can't for the life of me remember what it was. I feel like it was some Lady something. And likly British. Seems like someone had made a whole webpage about her. Maybe not a full site, but certainly a page that had discussed her. Oddly, it seems I didn't even make note in my phone notepad or take a screenshot of the book... both of which i do (esp notes) do I don't lose track of something. So, now i have no recollection as to who she was, or what the cookbook was. 😕 However... I have ordered a CD off eBay that has MANY, like over 300, digital cookbooks... and you can download some off the Library of Congress siteand i think Hathi has some, too... if someone is looking for a vintage recipe collection, you can start there. Then, if you find one you REALLY want physically, then you start looking around at the pkaces you recommend here to find the physical volume. And lastly... one book I do have that was originally printed in 1875, but I think what I have was published like first decade 1900's... it has venison and all kinds of meats we don't consider common anymore.
