You can get sand paper in a 25 yard roll on amazon, and just tear it off to the length you need. They sell it for people to make their own sanding belts, so you can get it in different widths and grits. it will save your scissors. :) Nice hull!

Hi, i also live in bangkok and im planning to build a similar small catamaran... i am having trouble finding suitable wood, whats this plywood called and where did you buy it?

Hello Sam, I am using marine grade plywood BS1088. I also ordered tulip wood. I ordered it at Phuket Siam Timber (phuketsiamtimber.com) They can deliver anywhere in Thailand. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the reply man, they sent it up from phuket? How much was it a sheet? Did you find any exterior grade plywood that was usable in bangkok? Your build is looking very professional

Hello Sam, the prices that I got quoted were: 6mm marine plywood BS 1088 @1100 Baht 9mm marine plywood BS 1088 @1550 Baht 12mm marine plywood BS 1088 @1900 Baht 15mm marine plywood BS 1088 @2300 Baht 18mm marine plywood BS 1088 @2800 Baht For shipping of my sheets + tulip wood order to Bangkok I paid just 1000 baht. You are welcome to visit my workshop if you would like to.
