A past Summer 2013 project, but I now have the computer power to edit all the shot HD footage (over 150 GB of data in photo and video).
This video shows the time-lapse of me building an 8x8x8 LED cube that uses blue colored LEDs. The project took an extremely long time to do. The video DOES NOT cover any design aspects or step-by-step of the schematics, software, or LED controller for the LED cube.
In some parts of the video I use different methods (like using Silly Putty) to try and get the cube assembled but I later find a better one. I kind of just built this without using any real manual or instructions. Getting the application to work (the real deal) was also a struggle and it seemed to work eventually.
