In this video I will be making an aquascape to surprise my wife. She had wanting a ranchu goldfish for quite a while and I didn't have a tank ready for one. But since I specially built her one it's about time that I designed and built this beautiful aquascape for her.

I use the same stones, 5 in 5 formats together with colourful boulders from Scotland and Dennerle Mekong sand, gorgeous combination

Very nice setup, if by any chance you got algae issues, you will probably be recommended to add fast growing plants. The other way around is to go for bigger slow growing (under or above water) so you keep the identity of your tank. You can also add a little bit of floating plant that you remove once the tank is more established. Cheers

Thank you for the tips. I will definitely keep an eye on the algae. I was thinking of adding a bigger centre plant because the one I got wasn't big enough

I love the simplicity of your tank. Very informative voice over. Things I didn't know and I had gold fish for years when growing up. It's an impressive build 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I hope we get to see who takes up residency
