you can place turrets on walls or hang them down from the ceilings upside down. You can place them at the pointy ends hanging upside, they will be hardly noticeable and will cover everything that could fly into the base.

For some reason the baby penguins don't drop as much as their wild counterparts, however if you wait for them to become adolescent then they give a fair amount. This was an issue Raas was having in his playthrough.

Syntac you can actually kill and harvest your own creatures in official pve now. Makes it a lot easier for us breeders (:

I love that you implement your style of building to EVERY building you create, tying your entire base together to look like some cool medieval dwarven fantasy type area and I just adore it 🤣 it's not my type of style but as you continue on with it and build more and more they start to become legit works of art. I'll never forget how breathtaking the community building you made in Calabasas was.

@31:00 you could use a few railings placed 90ish off the beams up top. Make a 4 or 5 point 'grate' to keep things out but still leave it open. also the Railings @28:30 look really cool but check and see if you can pass thru them. I made something similar (tho not nearly so artistic) and found i could walk thru the gap in the rails. Im going to make the pattern you are using and test to see because it looks very nice and i like wide open views .. but dont like it when critters can come in uninvited. @35:30 also remember you can paint the flame on torches with the paintbrush section 4 and 5 to change the color and glow. Mist= a bright electric white, Ice = a touch more blueish electric white. so then you can stuff the torches with sparkpowder and get the same visual effect for a much cheaper cost. keep up the hard work. =)

From what I gathered the LvLs gained through taming are distributed randomly so taming all high lvls regardless of wild stats could be profitable

According to the trap master Captain Fatdog, both flyers and underwater creatures actually don't have any pathfinding. He has a whole video on it. Another thing from that vid is that apparently creatures really don't like walking over fence foundations.

Unlike the wild kariuku (which the babies give the most polyer), tamed kariuku only give max amount of polymer when they are full grown.

I'd love to see you tame all of the island tameable dinos, personally I'm trying to get that achievement before scorched earth so I don't have the dinos multiplied like last time when they update the maps so my dino tame numbers are lower.

do you have the pelagornis on aggressive and it kills the babies by himself? I just made my farm but it only flies around them. or do I have to come once in a while and do the killing myself?

Probably should have viewed the baby babies with the magnifying glass before taming, so that you could compare health. They both got bonus levels, which would have included health.

If you get it going with polymer you're probably going to want to have that ceiling closed off. If you're going to have the Pelagornis on aggressive I'd be more worried about it pathfinding out the top to attack something than something getting inside. If the plant species X dont kill stuff fast enough he might try taking a stroll around The Island! The idea to just hop in every once in a while and go on a purge might be the better option if they wind up needing time to grow for more polymer.

Honestly the only thing (other than greenhouses) that I would change about the building would be the ability to put pillars on a slanted roof/stair/ramp. The railings sometimes just don’t work well enough

btw i found a setting in the UI near the bottom to hide dino names unless i look at them, its useful

I think the way to do it is to get the penguins on the ceiling and then use dino hitshing for all of them (idk if its in this game it was s+ thing) then you take the ceiling off that way they will float

Is there a way to raise the opacity level to see what level a dino is? Im on xbox and its hard to see the levels even when standing next to them. Its nearly impossible to see a dinos level without using a spyglass
