I can relate to the blown turbo. Once owned an '87 LeBaron 5 speed with a turbo... when the squirrel cage went, it was just like blowing the engine...and just as expensive, in 1991 dollars.

Or, alternatively, get a covet, remove the body panels, strip the interior, put on racing suspension, fat front tires, biggest engine with the largest amount of power and nitrous and boom, you have a drag car, sure not good looking, but still. Edit: Also, the M4 would win in price, as the roadster does require charging and also is kinda expensive, not to mention the power grid failures for alot of EV charging.
